Where is the cancel button, I have one that says "cancel order" under "print invoices" I'm AU and have a 20th-24th delivery date.

I don't live in Australia, I was more asking whether the observation that only in Australia the buttons are disappearing is correct.

Apple Rep says all order will be shipped Expedited for the holidays

I just spoke to an Apple CSR about shipping times for my order of the new 27" iMac. She said all the orders are bumped up to expedited shipping due to the holidays, estimated transit time from China: 2-3 business days.

I'm still embarrassingly impatient for my new full spec'd iMac to come. I cannot wait.

It seems that way. Has anyone that lives in the United States had their cancel button removed yet?

My Cancel button has disappeared how ever the cancel option is still on the left side there. and i can hover over it as to click. (would hate to click it by accident haha)

Still saying processing order though

Long time lurker. Been waiting 6 mths for the imac.

I ordered fully loaded 27 imac (3tb fusion not ssd). I think i was first hour but not sure. It was 5pm perth time. (can anyone tell me what time perth time it opened)

Delivery date 20-24th.

My cancel button just disappeared. This has got the hopes up. Anyone see the if this happened to the 21s and what the subsequent timing was.

Cheers

Can somebody please tell me if Apple usually delivers new products to AU and the USA at the same time?

I just noticed on mine the blue button that is disappearing for some states "Cancel Items" where as the link to the left is "Cancel Order." Which I see as a possible good sign since under the step "Preparing for Shipment" it states you can no longer "modify" your order. We shall see :)

West coast here, too. Ordered the same system around 12:05 am PST on Nov. 30. No movement, can still cancel.

Dang, now you are giving me hope because I'm in the same time zone. Because of you, I'll be checking to see if my cancel button has disappeared every five minutes. ;)

I ordered an i5 with 3TB hdd. Ordered around 12:10 am on 11/30, with a delivery date of Dec 21-28, but my cancel button is still there. Since midnight on 11/30, I've felt like a five year old waiting for Christmas morning.

I can still cancel using the link on the left side of the screen, but the button that allowed you to cancel/edit order deals is gone.

Have you tried clicking the cancel button on the left side? From what I have been hearing once the regular Cancel button is gone the one on the left no longer works. I am not 100% sure though.

Intellectually, I know that clicking that cancel link won't instantly cancel my order, but I can't bring myself to do it.

Are there any people with a delivery date of Dec 21-28 with their cancel button missing?

ordered 11/30 with standard shipping.

called today to change the order a little (RAM from 16 to 8) but was told that it would delay delivery but ...

they changed my shipping at no charge to "2-3 business days" ... cut 3 days off the projected delivery. Now 12/28 - 1/4

When Apple (or any retailer) runs your card, that places a hold on the funds. There is a second step, where the retailer actually charges the card. In most cases this is done almost simultaneously with the initial run of the card. Apple doesn't run the charge until shipping is immenent. Different cards issuers will leave uncharged holds on cards for different lengths of time - from a few days to as much as two weeks.

You'll know your machine is about to ship when the charge shows back up on the card.

Same thing happened to me a few days ago, but then the new charges were applied yesterday so perhaps I might get my Mac sooner than thought.

Long time lurker and first time Mac owner here :)

I ordered around 3:10 Eastern time:

27-inch iMac

Available to ship: 2 - 3 Weeks
Delivers Dec 21 - Dec 28 via 2-3 Business Days

Configuration
•3.4GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
•8GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM-2X4GB
•3TB 7200-rpm Serial ATA Drive
•NVIDIAGeFrc GTX 675MX 1G GDDR5
•MAGIC MOUSE+MAGIC TRACKPAD
•Apple WL Kybd (English)+UG
•COUNTRY KIT

Decided not to go with:
- 32gb RAM upgrade because I got it on Amazon for $160 shipped.
- Fusion because I am going to buy and boot from a 1TB Lacie TB SSD w/ RAID0 in a few months when prices drop (or create my own Fusion down the line with a bigger SSD if it's pre-wired/not too difficult to do).
- 680MX because I haven't played video games in years.

Anyway, standard shipping time was 24-31, and they changed it free of charge when I called in :). Mine still has the "cancel" option :-(

Ordered Nov. 30th@6:45am EST

Here is what my delivery says and this is what it has always said and shown. Nothing has changed since I placed the order.
