27" Delivery time thread.

I really feel for everyone that is still awaiting movement on your order.
If it is any consolation to you, this is my first Mac, a purchase that I've been planning on for ~ three years, and waiting for most of '12 for the product refresh.
Good thoughts, your iMacs will adorn your desks for Christmas.

I am in the group that had theres ship first, as far as this forum goes, and it is now on it's third day in Shanghai. It just doesn't seem to want to leave that place and I am getting very frustrated. If it would have left on Monday like the tracking said I would of had it this week. Not sure what the problem is. Bad weather in Shanghai? is that possible?

I promised myself that I wouldn't go all neurotic after ordering my iMac and start checking this forum to keep up with delivery dates (like I did with my iPhone and iPad). Alas, after getting my shipment notice, I headed right over here!
Anyway...I'm on the UPS Train with an expected 12/17 delivery. Hoping for a miracle delivery of 12/14
Here's my data point:
BTO: 27" / i7 / 8GB RAM / 1 TB Fusion / 680MX-2GB RAM

Destination: Glendale (Los Angeles), CA
Just curious if you are on that first UPS train. That has switched delivery dates a few times and like you said is now the 17th by end of day. If so, does your tracking still show in Shanghai for the third day now? Mine shows that it had a departure scan monday, then an export scan tuesday, and now another departure scan for today. All in Shanghai, China. WTF is that? Anybody any ideas on this one?

I have a feeling that you would have the nerve as well my friend as you would want to know what the status is as that is very unfamiliar. Most of us have had shipments and have experience tracking them. I havent seen them stay in one place for three days and scanned three times. Just searching for answers like every one else.

My order status changed directly from "Processing" to "Shipped"!
Apple has already sent the confirmation email too.
It was ordered 11/30 around 8.15 GMT (2-3 weeks, 26 Dec. - 2 Jan.) and is scheduled to arrive here in Portugal on 12/19.
(27" i5, BTO SSD only)
My order status changed directly from "Processing" to "Shipped"!
Apple has already sent the confirmation email too.
It was ordered 11/30 around 8.15 GMT (2-3 weeks, 26 Dec. - 2 Jan.) and is scheduled to arrive here in Portugal on 12/19.

Just received my email notification that my order has shipped and should be here in Melbourne, Australia, by 17 December at the latest. Sweet!
iMac coming to Thailand!!! Delivery 19th
Ordered BTO 27" 3.4 GHz 3TB fusion 2GB GPU 8GBRam at about 4.00 pm Thai time ( about 8.00 am UK time) Nov 30th. Given 24-27th Dec delivery. Just got notification it's left Shanghai and on it's way to Bangkok, then it must clear customs. They expect delivery by DHL (standard) by Wed 19th at the latest, but if it clears customs it should be earlier!! Just for once Thailand is getting equal (or maybe better) treatment!!

That apparently the best way to get to Australia is via Amann in Jordan. Apparently it's been there since 6th December, at least the consignment has.
So Oz is out, Europe next I imagine.

LOL - Yes I saw the order had been to Amman, and Krakow - I did notice the very fine print that TNT re-use consignment numbers ... well at least I hope they do

Exactly the same as mine. Seems odd to be reusing numbers that were already used so recently. Asking for trouble.

about 4:30 pm today my friends order changed to shipped with a delivery of monday 17th.
another friends order half a day later says shipped.
Mine i ordered same 30secs as the first guy to the same delivery address and same specs. mine hasn't changed to shipped.
how on earth does this work then.
Dont understand. same specs, same building, same everything same time.
yet mine hasn't changed.. damn it going to call them tomorrow and complain hard haha see if that gets me any place

Yes mine is the same too. Am in New Zealand. Notified this afternoon. TNT or Apple needs to fix this ASAP!
Has finally shipped! To be delivered by 1030am this Friday. Just in time for the weekend. Woo-hoo!!!

I have the same dates (2-3 weeks, 26 Dec. - 2 Jan) but it's still processing
and i am from Spain, shouldt they send both over? its on the same way...ahhhhh!!!!Rut-row! I just noticed my Apple Shipment notification email quotes a Delivery date of December 17, yet FedEx Expected delivery date shows December 14. Who should I trust? There's a huge difference between Friday and Monday. I'm happy at least it's on the way.
