WOOT think mine cleared customs and is in route to me :)

International shipment release - Import?!?

I hope that's what that means in transit from Shanghai to my local FedEx hub, or maybe its just to Alaska and I get to wait some more:(

I have the exact same message on my tracking page.

It would appear that it took 2 days from when the shipping info was created until it actually left the country... For a 2-3 day FedEx package.

----------

Anyone have any guesses what this status means?

I'm hoping that your delivery address is in Shanghai.

Still in processing. Ordered 12:07 am on 11/30. Still in processing. Unbelievable.

And what was your original delivery date? The 19th to the 24th? Looks like you're still in good shape! Mine took just over two days to go from "in processing" in China to being here in Maine. Until Apple misses your end delivery date, there's nothing to indicate that your Mac is off track. :)

Mine was picked up at 11:13AM on 12/13 and right now it's 7:23pm on 12/14, so only one business day so far. It's the weekend now, so even though mine's "2 business day" delivery, they get 4 days

guess monday morning I'll just be preparing my desk... hoping it's not delivered in the afternoon when I have to be gone for 15 minutes!

----------

I'm just glad I got Fedex... my iPad mini's been sitting in the UPS facility in Louisville KY (only 5 hours from me) since Wednesday morning... if that were my iMac I'd be going nuts right about now! At least my iMac is still moving...

Flight FX28 leaves Shanghai in 9 minutes :)

I don't think that I'm in good shape until it's no longer in processing. And yep, it's frustrating to see so many people who ordered later than me already receiving their iMacs. So regardless of the original delivery window, it feels like I've been skipped over. There aren't too many people left who have been posting in this thread who are still processing.

i been seeing a few posts about people talking down to some of the guys on here that keep talking about their iMac, and when they're getting it..Whats your problem?? Its an enjoyable experience to get a new iMac, especially one that just came out and one you have to wait for. It makes people feel better to talk about the iMac they dont have yet..If it bothers you so much quit reading the threads and go post your negativity elsewhere...jesus christ!!

Just wanted to mention that mine did ship today.

Scheduled Delivery:
Wednesday, 12/19/2012, By End of Day

My sour grapes (or cucumbers) aside, I am glad that people are posting all this shipping info, because it gives me hope and because it gives me an idea of the time frame for arrival whenever mine finally ships. I'm waiting to see WilliamG and Edry's orders arrive! Hopefully I'm not too far behind.

Yup, I agree with everything you said!

Same here!

The Good News:

Anchorage will have a sun/cloud mix of a day today.:)

The Bad News:

Mac is still sitting in Anchorage

The Really Bad News:

I don't think UPS has a clue where the Mac is

All I know is UPS and their "contractors" are worst than FedEx.

As I posted previously the last update we got was on 12/11 910pm from Alaska.

Since UPS probably forgot to scan the arrival in Louisville at 5am on 12/12/2012. And UPS is using contractors for final leg.

We have no clue where our packages are. I live in Orlando area and the package is somewhere on a contractor truck between Louisville and Orlando.

Don't know if the comments about negativity were directed at my post or not, but I can see how they might be. Sorry if anyone took it that way. My intent was not to talk down to anyone, but to be reassuring. The turnaround time is incredibly quick on these shipments. While I get how it can be frustrating (I was there a few days ago), we also have to acknowledge that we have no idea what factors are at play in the process. We are working with very limited information, so the process may seem unfair or to lack any logic. However, we also know the obsessive level of attention Apple pays to its supply chain, so there's surely some reason - and ultimate efficiency - for doing things the way they are.

I'm in the sme batch except I live in the Kansas City area.

In this case even the flight from China was a contract carrier. The only flight that matched the timeline and flight route was a China Air Freight flight.

I called yesterday and all they could tell me was that it reached Louisville and cleared customs.

A few on this flight have posted that they received e-mails that they would be delivered today. I also have a MyChoice account but haven't received any e-mails so assume it will be here Monday.

Im still sitting with that Departure from Alaska status. I did the UPS livechat but she couldn't tell me anything else. Just told me to keep checking (like that will help).

I really just want to know if it had a chance to show up today instead of Monday as scheduled.

FWIW I just got off the phone ordering my 27" Mid January is the BTO shipping estimate at least here in the UK.
