27" Delivery time thread.

Mine was preparing for 24+ hours. Some only took about 12.

I used a debit card and the money hasn't come out of my bank account either. I have a feeling Apple won't forget to charge me though :p

Dec 28 - Jan 4. This is my second order, as I cancelled my first order (5minutes after launch) because of a config change. Seeing everyone getting theirs early, I was hoping I would get mine before Christmas, but I am coming to the realization that it won't happen.

I ordered around 1630 EST on 11/30 with maxed out settings except for Ram and mines been "processing" for three days. I also have next day shipping before noon that I mentioned previously.

My delivery window is the 28th thru the 4th of Jan and when my shipping got upgraded my estimate did not change.

I haven't heard too many people say theirs was processing for this long and that's what frustrates me at this point. I'm happy others before and after me have already got theirs, well as happy as I can be for them, but processing for three days is unfortunate.
 
My order is now in Anchorage with the rest of yours! Mine is the standard config ordered by telephone order on 9am (pdt) on Novermber 30 and shipping to California. BTW, I just realized that I no longer have a firewire port on the new iMac so I called Apple and the nice rep gave me a thunderbolt to firewire adapter for free (value $29)! Since I am greedy, I also asked for a superdrive but couldn't get that also.
 
Wow so weird checking my FedEx tracking it says my unit is in Shenghai and not Anchorage like it just said WTF

Yours has only been processing for three days? Mine started processing a day or two after ordering (I ordered around noon on Nov 30), so for two weeks or so now.

No, although I wish you were correct, I was scanned in China on 12/13, but won't take delivery until 12/19.
[hard to take this seriously in light of today's tragedy, however]

We are screaming the same thing my macbro! I have been reading some of the reviews of the 27's and they are really getting me excited to get this thing. I am pulling for ya millk18 and also blastair and bayleaves and anyone else who is suffering from the profound perpetual processing profile...:D

Whew ok it's good I'm not sure if it was something with my iPad the safari cache or what but it was saying it was in Shenghai (the screenie was from earlier in the morning) but on my PC now showing it's in Anchorage.

No further updates:mad:

Was your status "We’ve received your order" this whole time? If so, it might mean that yours was really on processing for longer, but for some reason the status didn't change?

Yeah up until three days ago it just said we've received UR order or something similar.

BTW... I saw on my credit card that the amount (about 3000$) was deleted! I've been charged when I purchased it but now the transaction doesn't appear anymore.. WTF?
