What is the name of your Mac(s), HDs, iPods, etc.?

Here's mine:

iMac: Laurana
Maxtor: Marilyn
iPod Video: Scrat
PB G4: Cecilia

(Now Sold) iMac G4: Sid the Sloth (it was actually very fast)

I didn't see one of these threads but if there already is one, feel free to delete this post.

The only one of my Macs with a name is my 2.66GHz Mac Pro. It has two names:
1. The Beast

OR

2. Big Nev (my friend who sold me my first Mac, a 2 GHz G5, was called Neville)

FJ

Well, I don't have a custom name in the computer name box, but All of my primary machines have always been named HAL 9000, with whatever PDA/Phone/Palm I have at the time being SAL 9000.

iMac G5: "(my full name)'s iMac G5" -- not very clever, I know. The hard disk used to have a name, but it died about a year ago, and I had it replaced. It's still named "Macintosh HD" because I'm afraid that if I rename it, FCE will go nutterbutter on me.

iMac G3: "Snow iMac" -- Since the iMac is white, and the official color name was "Snow."

933 MHz Pentium III Gateway: "The Turtle".

If I ever get an 8-core Mac Pro, I'm calling it "Octopus".

Hmm...I'm trying to remember all of mine (from the past)

Mac Classic: Cooper (named after the Twin Peaks detective)

7500: Silver Surfer (first time I had a decent internet connection)

G3: Striding Cloud (from the Storm Riders comic books, movie)

iPod 4G: El Poderoso (from the motorcycle Ché road in Motorcycle Diaries)

And current:

G4 MDD: Corázon and the backup drive is Espejo

iPod nano (RED): Il triello (from this piece of music)

I notice people are surprised when I tell them that I've named all my Macs, I weep when I see a poor nameless MB or its ilk.

1st Mac - TiBook - Charisma
2nd Mac - MBP - Evangeline...sold to sister, now Apollo
3rd Mac - MBP - Penelope

Mock my naming theme. Go ahead.

MacBook Pro: Willow (sharing name: Sunnydale)
Powerbook G4: formerly Willow, now no name
Printer: Giles
Old iPod: Xander
Current iPod: Lorne
iDisk: Fred
External FW drive: Angel
Backup partition of the FW drive: Angelus
AirPort network name: Faith
Old Dell laptop: Spike
Ancient Gateway desktop: Drusilla
Even more ancient Gateway laptop: Anya
USB key: Dawn
SD card in my Treo 700p: Tara
SD card in my digital camera: Joss

I find this all terribly clever and it amuses and delights me every single day.

That's the old computer name thread, here's another. And here's the old iPod thread and the old Hard drive thread.

Those already answered in those threads don't need to reply in this (unless they've since replaced or renamed their mac/ipod/whatever). ;)

I've gotten some new (and still have much of the old stuff, but have also renamed some stuff :)):

MacBook: Serenity (with the internal disk: Internal)
old iBook: ono-sendai
500 GB LaCie drive: Space
200 GB LaCie drive: Backup
AirPort Extreme and AirPort Express: Extreme and Express (I know )
iPod nano: Spøkelseskladden

I'll just list my main machines. I have a bunch of old machines that I haven't booted up in a while, but their HDDs usually are either "Macintosh HD" or the OS version.

Snow iMac G3: White Slapper ('tis a working server, y'see.)

MacBook with OS X: MacBook
MacBook with Boot Camp: MACBOOK-XP
MacBook with Parallels: MACBOOK-VM
MacBook with OS 9: MacBook-:) (Representing the classic happy mac bootup symbol)

PowerMac G3/233 beige desktop:
OS X Server 1.0: testbed (I think. I cannot recall and sadly haven't booted into Server 1.0 in a long while.)
Mac OS 9: QuickTake Workstation

iPod 5g 30GB: Salacious iPod
iPod shuffle 1g 1GB: Itty Bitty Poddy
