There's a couple of annoying differences between my iPod Touch 2G and 4G. On the 4G, no matter what volume, even at 0, keyboard clicks and unlocking/locking still make the sound at full volume. And my alarm is half as loud as my 2G was. Does anyone know why this is? Did Apple just change these two things in the newer models?

No change in the, just go to settings, and then sounds, and there you adjust those sounds,

With the iPod Touch 4, its more similar to the iPhone in the sense that there are two sound profiles. Just go to settings > sounds and then click "adjust ringer with volume buttons". Then whenever you are in an app that doesn't use sound, you will be able to adjust "ringer" but then if you are in an app that uses sound, like a game, video or music, it will adjust the other sound profile.
