2nd Internal Drive Suggestion

I'm about to put an optibay in my 2010 17" MacBook pro.

I plan to use the drive for instrument / sample libraries for Logic and for video for FCP.

Can anyone reccomed a fast and quiet regular 2.5" non SSD drive that would be suitable. I want to put a 750gb or 1TB drive in.

Western Digital Scorpio Blacks are great drives, don't kill your battery, and run relatively quiet at 7200 RPM's. I love mine. 😎

I like the scorpio black hdds I have owned 250gb 320gb 500gb types all good.

samsung is going to put out a 1tb short hdd a 9.5mm.

Let me look for a link it may me worth waiting for.

If you can wait a bit, get the soon to be released Samsung 1TB 9.5mm drive. The performance is quite good:
