This worked for me

Only way I managed to make it work is deleting all my notes form outlook before syncing.
Hope it helps!

The steps listed by Astro worked for me too... Thanks Astro.

Oma - you dont need to turn on the cached mode unless it is absolutely required by your sys admin.

Thank you Astro!!
your solution worked for me too.
questions:
1)Do I have to TURN ON the Cached Mode for your current Outlook account after I do this?
2)Do I have to turn it off every time I want to sync the notes to my Iphone?
Thanks again,
Orna

1. Exit iTunes and leave Outlook open
2. In Notes, make sure that your Notes are in the first Notes Folder listed (iTunes will only look in the first Notes folder listed, to change the order of your Notes folders just right-click on the folder and choose Move Up or Down in List).
3. Turn off Cached Mode for your current Outlook account (refer to Microsoft Office Support for instructions: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HP010223431033.aspx?pid=CH010045991033)
4. Exit (from the File menu, don't just "X" out) and re-start Outlook
5. Open iTunes and check the boxes for Sync Notes to Outlook and Replace on this iPhone (*This will delete all Notes on the iPhone and replace them with Notes from Outlook*).
6. Perform Sync.

My Notes are now synced with Outlook. I went back and turned Cached Mode back on in Outlook but I do not know if this will impact Notes sync in the future. I will cross that bridge when I get to it. Hope this helps!

Solution to iPod Touch/iPhone Notes not syncing with Outlook Notes

There are two solutions to this problem:
1. There is a note folder in iPod Touch/iPhone and/or Outllook that is blank. Erase the blank note in both the iPod Touch/iPhone and/or Outllook and sync again.
2. Power off your iPod Touch/iPhone by pressing the on/off button for a few seconds and then sliding the power off switch on the screen. Restart your iPod Touch/iPhone, then re-sync.
3. Do both 1 & 2 if either one does not work alone.

I had tried almost all the options mentioned in this thread, and this problem had been troubling me for a long time. I had some notes with the same names and couple of notes starting with a digit. I corrected both of them and then the sync worked. I hope this helps others too.

Message re: Voices memos always pops up.

When I sync My iPod with iTunes I get the following message: The iPod thewolfe's contains new voice memos. Would you like to see your iTunes library? So I always say yes but the prompt always comes up each time whether I have new voice memos are not.

How do I stop this message?

iPod Touch 8 GB "not enough capacity to sync"

iPod Touch 8 GB "not enough capacity to sync"

Today, with nothing new added to my iPod Touch I got a message while trying to sync "The iPod cannot be synced because there is not enough free space to hold all the selected items (additional 6.86 GB required). With an 8 GB iPod Touch you only have 6.86 GB.

I've added nothing new to the iPod touch. I sync it daily because I have my Outlook calendar synced to it.

Any ideas?

I think I got it figured out. I went back through iTunes looking in all the categories and under podcasts I found "automatically include all unplayed episodes of ALL PODCAST instead of "selected podcast".

I'm not sure what happened but I must have mis-clicked on that area sometime today.

Syncing iPod & Outlook thru iTunes

Syncing iPod & Outlook thru iTunes

Think I know but...want to Sync iPod & Outlook thru iTunes. Have never done it before with this device. I have updated my contacts on my iPod but have not synced or updated Outlook.

When I sync through iTunes I want to make sure the sync goes both ways. That is that the Outlook contacts will be populated from my iPod that is up to date.

Does iTunes always sync both ways?
