Try it yourself, go to the mobileme chat support, and ask why the find my iphone feature is not working, because it's June 17, and it should work... see what they say

Apple employees aren't allowed to post on boards like this, they cuold get fired from there job, IF they find out.

First they tell you 5 hours, then they tell you they don't know. Hmmmm.
Sounds to me like someone let it slip. I'm sticking with the 5 hours.
 
Yeah, I got a similar response when asking about the iDisk app availability:

Jennifer T: I understand that you are excited about the new features that will become available today. At this time, MobileMe chat agents do not have the expected time that the iPhone 3.0 Software will become available today. However, when it becomes available, the iDisk app, should also become available at the same time.
 
Btw is 9am central time 9 in San Fransisco? Because I have a clock set to San Fransisco time, don't know all the US time zones in my head, should probably learn them since I'm planning to move to NY.

I think 9 central is 10 eastern. So... It should be 7 pacific?

The MobileMe support was wrong.
EST is one hour ahead of CST, and PST is two hours behind CST.
It will be 7AM in California and 9AM Central, and 10AM EST.

lol... we had the same person.. I took out her name in the second chat... and changed it to J T.... I guess jennifer does not want to give info out... try to get a different representative
 
you know what i think these chat people don't really know, but they get asked so many times, that it's just easier to give the time they think it's going to available, as there own personal guess... lol

Why don't use your iPhone clock app for that 😉
 
according to o2 its 6pm here (uk) for 3.0 release.
i have no idea what time this is in various parts of the us. juts thought i would throw it in to see if this ties up with your info..
i am hoping they will release at the same time.

6PM in London is 10AM in California. (this is accurate)

So I guess this means we have mixed data. One source says 7AM California, another source says 10AM California. Heck, I'm going to sleep now. I'll just update whenever I wake up tomorrow. Good night ....or uh, good morning for you. 😀
