I know 3.0b1 was not really matured enough to use as your main phone, how many of you think 3.0b2 is? Have most of the bugs that one would encounter during normal use been worked out?

And yes, I know it's a beta and there are still bugs.

Yeah, it seems pretty stable now. I'd run it as my main phone. Safari is a lot better now and it seems more stable. I'd say, go ahead and use beta 2, it's a lot nicer than beta 1.

Thanks. I thought about the making the switch but I thought switching to a beta OS just to get some new features was silly, but after reading all of this talk about it, I want to at least check it out but unfortunately I don't have any friends that are developers and I'm not going to pay $99 to test drive a beta OS and I don't really feel like getting potentially scammed by people selling $5-$10 UDID spots

Calendar

What about a weekly calendar with iPohne 3.0?

Does anybody know if there will be a weekly calendar?

I hope for a lot of improves to the agenda.
-> Weekle calendar #1!
-> search for something in calendar
-> double click on a entry in the calendar opens the edit mode
-> double click on a free space open a new entry
-> show the next 2 events in the startscreen of the iphone

All these points are important to use the iPhone for business

Apple knew exactly what would happen if they released the beta. And it's happening. The buzz is huge.

A lot of people who have not been interested in iPhone are now interested. And the Buzz will only get bigger toward official release day.

Posting screen shots is not that big of a deal, especially when you can see the VERY SAME video on the apple site.

This is marketing genius.

Someone mentioned that you there is scrubber now. There's also "Fine Tune" but the screen cap didn't come out for that. Interesting addition.

What is scrubbing rate?

Scrubbing rate is how fast you can fastforword/rewind the song/video you're playing by moving the indicator (I believe its called the srubber) on the timeline. When it goes to half scrubbing mode, the scrubber will only move half as far as your finger does, so you can have finer control over where you move to.

On that note, I really hope they add this to the remote app. I use it to control my Apple TV and its really hard to get to the right point when the timeline is 30 min long.

Can someone post a screen of the dock icons in this order?

Phone, Messages, iPod, Settings

Please?

@ TheSpaz

Yay! They aligned the iPod app! They also moved the Message app back over to the left again and gave it some definition on the right edge. They also changed the center color of the iPod app icon a little bit. It's not as red now.

Has anyone tried to copy and paste in third party applications in previous 3.0 betas? I remember not being able to do that and now with beta 3 I tried it and it works. It lets me copy and paste in third party apps :)
