3-4 Weeks before delivery?!?

When they announced the Macbook, I was ready to buy, no questions asked! Then, over the last several weeks, I've cooled-off but still wanted one. Now today, seeing 3-4 weeks delivery... I didn't bother. And for those that have ordered the Macbook or Watch, they've all got weeks or even months to also cool-off and cancel.

So many purchases are on impulse and Apple are killing that.

I'm guessing it's not available in-store either if shipping times (in the UK at least) are 3-4 weeks.

I 100% agree.

I'm actually pretty pissed off about how they have managed this.

I can confirm it isn't instore either (UK), as I checked, not even demo models.

Maybe people lining up outside Apple Stores tonight might not be a bad idea (if they have them)

Nothing to line up for, at least in the greater Boston area. No stores have any stock today.

You got up early!

This really surprises me. I walked past an Apple Store a couple of weeks ago and there were massive images of the Watch and Macbook, so I walked in assuming they were there to look at. But no. And apparently still no.

Ha! It's just down the road from my office 🙂

The signs were all there too... They dropped the ball on this.
 
I didn't stay awake and I wake to find the gold 1.2/512 takes 3-4wks to ship and the others base model is taking 1-3 days. I guess I can wait and pick up in store or order online when shipping takes 1-3 days.
