3.5G Speeds = Fast!

It's pretty lame for me on Time Warner Cable because our upload speed is capped at 300Kbps, while my iPhone on 3G is getting 1.2Mbps upload...

Of course the cable download speed is a bit faster.

Is there a way to know that AT&T has completed the upgrade in your area?

My speeds are all over the place. Depends on time of day. Right now I can't even get the test to run despite having 5 bars. At 7am i was getting good pings and 5Mbps down and 1.6 up. At 9am it fell to 3 and 1. Now it's 0 and 0. All taken at the same spot with the phone sitting flat on my desk. My pings went from 200ms to 10000+. I think it's AT&T, but it's really frustrating that my phone won't even get my email sitting at my desk all day. I don't remember my 3GS doing this, but then it is summer and there is a big mall less than a mile from my office.

Speed in NYC - Rockefeller Center area. Things do seem faster than when I was using my 3G phone. Not sure if it's from upgrades in the area or the phone.
