They simply start it at 12 PST, which is the local time for Apple headquarters.I've always wondered why Apple can't start the preorders earlier. That way people like us don't have to wake up at 2AM to put in a preorder. I feel like Apple is just showing way too much love to the West Coast
Damn, most are going for the jet black 7+ 128 GB. Lame lol. I'll have three people in my house wanting that one, myself included. Torn between the matte black, so I may go for that since it'll be in a case anyway.

I hope you leave one Silver for me. I actually prefer Space Gray though. IMHO, black sucks. Ever try to find one in a dimly lit or dark room. Black is also invisible. Definitely not my cup of tea.
Don't get me wrong, I like the matte black, but I just hate how screen protectors look on the black front. The outline is clearly visible. I'm torn!

My current 6 is the gold. So probably black. My last 2 iPhones (the 5 and 6) both had white fronts. The 3G and 4 had black fronts.
Rose Gold not for me. I don't need the shiny under a case. So silver a backup option. Haven't had a silver smart phone.

Crap... I didn't think about what the screen protector would look like. Now I'm not sure if I want the matte black or stay with the gold.

That was posted 2 days before AT&T, Verizon, and all the major carriers decided to give iPhones away for free just like the old days, clearly they didn't like the preorder results.
So, yeah, about that.
