No really, when my powerbook went all narcoleptic on me it took me a week to find the power cable for my imac, so i was stuck using my PC for everything. It's was passable for a day or so then, for the first time in my life i didn't really want to be sat in front of a computer  now i've got the imac rigged up i'm back sat in front of my desk staring at 3 screens

example: I just upgraded my G4 450 PowerMac to a Mac Mini. I got the G4 in February 2000. Let's see it's now November 2006. Six and a half, almost seven years. How many PCs could still be viable for everyday use after that long. How many PCs could take that many OS upgrades. How many PCs could handle 200MB graphics files in Photoshop with ten other applications running.
