Wait, I used to rate my photos with stars in the past, and then Apple took that away! I don’t care whether it was in iphoto or photos, it was there that it was gone. I’ll use that if it comes back, but one thing I really miss from the old days was the ability to home-share photo libraries so my wife and I could copy photos from each other’s libraries.

i just want an actual friggin working keyboard experience. slide typing and autocorrect better be fixed after years of nonsense. all of these other AI features are frankly meh. i doubt siri AI will replace claude or chatgpt for me.

Auto-Update of weak passwords? What could possibly go wrong? Flagging weak passwords is useful but I don't want the phone going out and updating things on its own.

I have a problem with Siri AI. I’ve realised when I’ve been asking it questions, it hasn’t worked very well still, so I’ve reverted to ChatGPT, who has been vastly superior. Take for example, taking a screenshot of just one of my app pages, Siri AI said, “I see you’ve downloaded some new music today. Would you like to play it? There was no music appearing on the screen. I did the same screenshot with ChatGPT and it said, oh, here’s a list of the apps you have on screen. Would you like me to explain what each app does? have a sneaky feeling that Siri AI is gonna be under expectations, it certainly doesn’t run as good as Google’s AI either

Surprising no one: lot of ai stuff. Sure, there's good applications for it, but I'm ready for the bubble to pop.

Yes. I had to go back and read the beginning of the article 3 times to see if it was in a language I don’t fluently understand, but it does say, “This year's major iPhone software update isn't all about AI, though, as the following feature list testifies.” Then continues to describe (I didn’t count), but ~27+/30 updates related to AI.
I have a 14+ so I don’t think anything will change that I’ll notice until I need to switch settings back to my preferences vs defaults. But EDITING MATTERS. That’s all.

This was my first thought too. Make sure to disable this if it’s something that might work on my 14 sans AI.
