I'm looking to get the iPhone 7 (from S7) but I'm not sure if it's the right choice cos it's a year old phone! What do you guys think?
I'm not an expert and also others may be able to judge well but according to me, you should go for the iPhone 7 Plus with capacity more than 32gb. Don't buy 32 gigs , it will run out due to really high quality videos and pics and the growing age media. I'm asking you to go for a 7 Plus because its an overall better upgrade with best cameras (still better than Note8) and the screen is a bit larger and better too. Dn''t switch from S7 to iPhone 7 as there is literally no difference and you would like 7 Plus way more!

I just purchased a 7 Plus in Jet Black (128GB) after the announcement yesterday and it arrives today!

I don't see much difference between this and the 8 Plus...and I'm saving almost $200 because Apple got greedy and got rid of the 128GB option in the new phones!
If you need 'only' 128 GB, then the iPhone 8 got $100 more expensive. But if you need 64 GB, it got $50 cheaper and if need 256 GB, the price stayed the same.

iPhone 7 32 GB: $649
iPhone 7 "64" GB: $749
iPhone 7 128 GB: $749
iPhone 7 256 GB: $849

iPhone 8 "32" GB: $699
iPhone 8 64 GB: $699
iPhone 8 "128" GB: $849
iPhone 8 "256" GB: $849

I have tiny hands, so I decided the 7+ is just gonna be irritating as hell. As for the GB, I have a 32gb now (albeit with an SD card but that doesn't get used). I'm not even anywhere close to filling it up because all my photos are stored in various clouds- as well as backed up onto my hard drive. Storage isn't really an issue for me - I'm not willing to pay more for extra storage when there are ways around it. As for the camera, I genuinely don't care that much as long as it takes a nice clear image. I have a couple DSLR cameras at home for proper photography.

So I ordered the iPhone 7 32gb :)

The Jet black model is still hands down my favorite iPhone they have released. It looks more like one slab of glass than the iPhone X does. Sleek and sexy.

Rose Gold.

I found my S7 really laggy and just not as smooth as iPhones. I also own a Macbook & iPad and just like everything to sync up together nicely - it was a hassle to move things from S7 to my MB and with uni starting up again, I just wanted to simplify things.

I also prefer iOS to Android N - I don't need all the customisation options, it was overwhelming and the basic skin(?) that comes with the S7 is UGLY. There are a few things I'll miss about it, but it's not enough to keep it cos there are more things about the iPhone that I miss too.

Also, I didn't wanna pay extra to get the iPhone 8 just for wireless charging - didn't really see a point in it.

Thumbs Up! Good choice!
