3d Mark keeps crashing with those values on my i7. Btw which resolution did you use for your Furmark test on the screenshot ?

I will give 3dmark a try later to see if it's stable. I also tried 700/1000 but the machine halted after the third test in 3dmark. No artifacts or other strange things though.

Don't know what res. was used with furmark. Kept all settings standard and pressed go.
The screenie was made from within the app using F9.

Did you guys have any luck with 3dmark Vantage? I can't seem to get it to start. It says please wait loading GUI but i've been waiting for a pretty long time and nothing happens.

I'm getting literally the exact same scores on my new logic board. 7400 is good enough with 650/900/1430

On your new logic board? :p did you fry the last one?

Started with Bioshock yesterday :D Everything set on highest @ 1280x800 widescreen smooth as silk :)

After about an hour of intense gaming it does run quite hot though. Found that both CPU and GPU both run at about 80 degrees after a little more than an hour of Bioshock. What temps are you getting after some intense gaming?

Nah. My last one kept freezing up for some reason so a genius decided to replace it.

Question?

I know its the end of the year now. I also noticed the last time a post was put in this thread. Ive be looking around the macrumors forums and today I have downloaded and installed HWmonitor and Nvidia Tools. My question is, in Nvidia Tools I'm given the option to overclock without a hitch. I haven't downloaded drivers from laptop2go and my cards driver is from the nvidia website. Should I overclock or not? Any insight would be appreciated.

Do yo think that overclocking will be more limited on i7 Macbook pros than in i5 ones?, the TDP power consumption is higher than the i5 ones, so the 85w power adapter would limit the performance gains for the gpu because of the limited power. Is there any 120w power adapter on the market?
