what do you use to edit your photos??

i been looking for a good >simple< photo editing software..i cant find a good one...i tried seashore,pixen..they dont work well even MS paint is better than them IMO >_> ...is there anything better out there??

I use Photoshop 7 and Photoshop Elements 4. I'm not sure where to find a trial though but I've seen them there a few times.

This is the only link I see but you need an Adobe account.

Try Preview>Tools>Image Correction for very simple photo editing.

Chris

thats not really what i want...iphoto can do better than that, and i actually have ''image tricks'' software it has many awesome effects thats are very easy to apply...so what i need is a good simple app that let you paint on your pictures and put text on them..

ah, oops sorry you need x11 from the install disc or from apple.com

maybe not the best for you then?

try pure-mac.com i found lots of great apps form that site

I use Adobe Lightroom to get the right balances and colours and then Adobe photoshop CS2 if I need to actually change details or make major revisions using selections to the photos.

I am quite a high end user though so...

Photoshop CS3. My sister though uses Photoshop elements and she quite likes it.

Isn't CS3 like a $700 package?

A bit of overkill for some simple photo editing. I too would like something that does a bit more that iPhoto, but without breaking the budget. I think PS Elements, when the UB version comes out, will fit my needs. Anyway that is more in my price range for a photo editor.
