Adobe Photoshop CS3.
skitch looks pretty simple and useful.
but sadly..i dont have a copy for it =(
i added my email to their page but never get anything.=(
and im glad to be back!
Pixen Is amazingly alot like paint imo
And it's free, always a bonus
PM me your email address and I'll email you an invite.
Worth every penny.
what do you use to edit your photos??
i been looking for a good >simple< photo editing software..i cant find a good one...i tried seashore,pixen..they dont work well even MS paint is better than them IMO >_> ...is there anything better out there??
I use Photoshop 7 and Photoshop Elements 4. I'm not sure where to find a trial though but I've seen them there a few times.
This is the only link I see but you need an Adobe account.
somewhere i read that photoshop Elements for mac doesNOT work on intel based mac...true?
Try Preview>Tools>Image Correction for very simple photo editing.
thats not really what i want...iphoto can do better than that, and i actually have ''image tricks'' software it has many awesome effects thats are very easy to apply...so what i need is a good simple app that let you paint on your pictures and put text on them..
I think it works more slowly than on a PowerPC machine but it works.
Photoshop Elements 5 should be out soon anyway, since the Universal CS3 is out.
open source and not too bad xD
all i actually need is MS paint for mac XD nothing more than that
It works, but using Rosetta.
yeah and gimp is pretty lightweight
i havent used it for mac but on my old linux box it was a gem
ah, oops sorry you need x11 from the install disc or from apple.com
maybe not the best for you then?
try pure-mac.com i found lots of great apps form that site
I use Adobe Lightroom to get the right balances and colours and then Adobe photoshop CS2 if I need to actually change details or make major revisions using selections to the photos.
I am quite a high end user though so...
Photoshop CS3. My sister though uses Photoshop elements and she quite likes it.
for simple editing - you could also try chocoflop
Photoshop CS3 although Elements would probably do me for about 90% of my work.
Isn't CS3 like a $700 package?
A bit of overkill for some simple photo editing. I too would like something that does a bit more that iPhoto, but without breaking the budget. I think PS Elements, when the UB version comes out, will fit my needs. Anyway that is more in my price range for a photo editor.
