Hurrah!!! :)

So now the debate is whether to pre-order Online, or queue to buy it from a store - which one will get me Leopard sooner??!!

Educational Pricing(?!)

The EDU discount is currently listed at $116 (compared to $129); I seem to remember it being much better for previous upgrades ($79?)... wow, that will really change adoption rates for students...

Edit: just checked, the EDU price for Tiger was $69 according to this review.

Free upgrade on new Macs as of today??

Any idea if there is a free upgrade on new Macs as of today??

Well they took the opportunity to increase their education pricing of the O/S all the way up to $116 from $69. That's ridiculous.

up-to-date

Any word on whether they'll be doing the usual "up to date" scheme for Macs bought from today till they start shipping preloaded?
