Yeah...I plan on being here when it arrives, so I don't think I need to pre-sign. But if somehow UPS leaves here without me being to get my watch I'll flip out.
 
just got notified that my May 13-27 order (38 space gray) shipped today for delivery tomorrow.

my pre-order email is timestamped April 10, 12:05 AM. looks like they're moving on them -- and two weeks earlier than promised....nice work, apple!!
 
My verification email came through pretty late comparatively at xx:17:56... so I'm not expecting movement until later this week at the earliest.

But I just saw a strange charge I got tonight... My Credit Card just registered a $1.00 charge from APL* ITUNES.COM/BILL.

Is that the initial charge that people are talking about? I was expecting it to be from the Apple Store, not iTunes. But I don't think you can even buy anything on iTunes for exactly $1.00 (it's $0.99 plus tax).

Thoughts? Anyone else have this?

I had to update my credit card and had the same thing happen - unfortunately, I think that's all it is. Others are referring to be charged for the purchase price of the watch just before it ships.

Right. But I thought I saw people talking about getting that initial charge just a few hours before getting the full charge amount.

That doesn't seem possible to me though. There have to be thousands still in line ahead of me at this point.

Anyway. It's probably just like that email this morning. A big fat tease.
 
First full day with 38 sg! You will notice slight discoloration where clasp of bands touch each other but this is normal and not noticible- great feedback from other kids in my high school.

I think it's just to verify your credit card. I used a discover card and got the $1.00 right away

I'm 16 minutes behind you at xx:33 and I got hit with the $1 charge (and a credit, I think) right after I updated my credit card info, which was a few days after pre-orders happened.

Please post when you get charged though. You and I may be the last on this forum at that point.
 
I'm at 03:16:31 (I think, seconds may off a lil) ...
I just checked and I don't have any charges ($1 or the $374)...

Plus when i got charged for the green 38mm.. It took the full amount then. And said Apple Store (not iTunes)

I had "preparing for shipment" yesterday. Today its back again on "processing". Anyone else had this?
 
So, I got my 38mm SGS yesterday morning. A friend told me people were ebaying SGS's that have yet to ship for over list price. I checked it out. Decided to keep my White/Silver SGS and sell my SGS. Got $600 for it. Will use the profit to buy a Milanese band, which I really liked when I tried it on at the store and would go much better with the silver sport than SGS. The band won't ship til "May", but i'm fine with that. Kinda liking the White also.

If I'm being honest, the slight discoloration stories also spooked me a bit. And I was always worried that scratches on the SG would be more noticeable. The SG still looks great and I'll consider it if I upgrade in the future. But for now, i'll be happy with my 'free' Milanese bracelet.

Seems like 42mm is moving . I saw some people in the :06 get charges and the one person with 03:16:xx get charged also!

I'm hoping to see a jump like that with the 38mm
Maybe some people are still asleep & could wake up to a surprise? Here is to hoping...
 
Just got charged last night and preparing for shipment. xx:04:47 in batch two. I'm excited!
