I'd definitely buy the 5.5 inch display. My eyes would be grateful. The only draw back is that talking on the phone would be a bit less subtle unless I used an earpiece.

That doesn't make sense... you'll take the 4.7 HTC one but not the iPhone 6 4.7" which is smaller?

No, I meant that I would love for the iPhone to keep its current size (a bit bigger screen would be great, but if not that's also OK with me). But if they have to make it bigger then if its something similar to the HTC then I could live with it. I just hope they don't go all-phablet on it :)

personally, a printer where you print your own iphone that actually works would be better ..

This is clearly one of those "well, because it can be done" moments...

This design could be obsolete overnight.. What is the mocks are wrong ?

"oh, it's no longer an iPhone, just a piece of crap."

That's kind of the point. If you already happen to have a 3d printer, this is a fun and very easy thing to print, costing a few cents of plastic. There is no comparison between looking at a picture and picking up the object itself.

Understand that. Most people don't have access to a 3D printer, but still curious. That's why I mentioned the old school "fold here," "insert here" origami type of model.

The iOS home screen looks horrible with that many app icons. It's like going to the cereal isle and being bombarded with too many things to look at. I don't want tons of apps like that it's ugly. I have an idea Apple. Introduce "Gravity" for iOS. When you enable gravity, app icons will fall to the bottom of the screen if the tiles aren't fully loaded with apps. Enabling users to easily reach their favorite apps on a larger screen without having to use two hands. The solution is simple. App icons need gravity to bring them to the bottom of the page. You can't patent gravity, it's a law of physics. Assign each app icon weight, enable gravity, and you've got icons on the bottom of the screen instead of the top where they are annoying on a large device. Ta da! It's magic, only not really, it's just physics.

"Needs"?

Nope - that's your needs, which are catered for on Android. iOS doesn't "need" widgets at all.

Yes, my "Needs", I didn't feel qualified to talk about your "Needs"

And just because you don't "Need" them, doesn't mean they shouldn't be introduced to make use of all the wasted space.

It's all about choice.

Apple aren't doing widgets. Simple.

I feel like those screens are too cluttered with apps and it's really claustrophobic.

I don't get this image, they increased the size once so far, twice soon. How many times has competitors, say Samsung increased their phone size without a blink of an eye get away with it. People seem to target Apple for anything they do even if it is something others they love already do. I guess it is that human instinct to pull down the best to make yourselves feel better.

Um, it was a joke? I highly doubt Apple will make a phone that is 2-3 feet long.

The only thing that concerns me at the moment, is the fact that some of the renders I've seen online, make the iPhone 6 look like the HTC One M8. I'm still hoping for a 5.5" version. Fingers crossed :D

I printed my own today and took some size comparison pictures versus my old cracked Galaxy S3 and my 5s. Both are too big IMO. 5.5'' is gigantic, I already dropped it a few times trying to reach to the top. The 4.7'' is manageable but I still have no problem with the 4'' screen. Don't forget I'm coming from a 4.8'' S3.

WOW that 5.5" iPhone looks MASSIVE even compared to the S3!!

well obviously they wouldn't. The constant use of that exaggerated image mocking Apple is a bit weird though since competitors are constantly increasing their screen size without being mocked. Sounds like cult haters when someone links mock images targeting Apple when they are not the first to do so.

All iOS is, is icons smattered about the screen. They can't think past this for some reason. They've peaked on usability and workflow efficiency innovation.

There's far more to it than that! Millions of us like iOS how it is and how it works in tandem with our Macs and other iOS devices.

Hi there lads. So what are the exact accurate dimensions for iPhone 6 Plus case? Anyone know a place to see where? I feel I may have to dig deeper.
