I found that 3D Touch brings up a blank window until I shut off content blocker (purify)
Shut it off and preview works fine.
Stinks though as I hate the ads so I'll live with no 3D preview

I have two iPhone 6s Plus that exhibit the same problem intermittently. I assume it has to be a software issue since the chances of both phones having a the same hardware problem is slim.

I agree, I think it's software. Hopefully they can tune things to the point that it's acceptable but 3D Touch is pretty crap right now.

Unless I turn 3D Touch off I find that half of the time when I tap a link it doesn't open. A tap is registered but it's seen as a very light press unless I'm really really deliberate. I've tried adjusting the sensitivity but the only way I can reliably open links is to turn 3D Touch off completely.

Is this a common issue? I've tried the public betas to see if there is s software fix but nothing has changed. Perhaps it's actually a hardware problem with my 6S Plus?

My Touch ID also randomly changes from working perfectly to not working at all. When it stops working I can't even set up a new fingerprint. The phone literally phone register a print at all.
I was just about to say that myself! You're right. You're right.

I honestly have no problem at all opening links. It's got to be a hardware issue surely, as we are all running the same software.

Well, my 3D Touch is set to sensitive. I don't like using that much force. It's too much effort for me.

Mine is also set to the most sensitive option. Either you have some sort of hardware defect or you're doing it wrong.

I hope that doesn't sound rude because I wasn't intending to, but I've had no issues at all opening links, not one. So there is something wrong somewhere.

For me it comes up at times first time I push it, however sometimes It seems like it doesn't want to open. Its not a biggie I chop it up to I am not use to it.

Well at least we know I'm not doing it wrong lol.

We can rule that one out. Lol since of course I have had an iPhone for many years and stuff. Haha

Now, back to the topic at hand. I would say it's a software bug! The 3D Touch probably has kinks. At one point I had set the 3D Touch to sensitive and it wasn't exactly sensitive.

They'll fix it in the next update.

I've had 2 replacements since getting the 6S Plus and this current one just had the screen replaced. Same issues on all of them. I've done lots of testing and it's not user error.

With the keyboard trackpad function I can only use that to move the curser once. Once I drop the curser 3D Touch does nothing. I need to start typing again before 3D Touch starts registering again.

I still haven't found a use for the cursor thing. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have been tapping lighter than I normally would for the whole day and this problem had not reoccured today. I hope Apple resolves this in the next update.

3D Touch does cause an issue with it. If you have it set to sensitive, the phone thinks you are using 3D Touch. That's why the link doesn't open up. You might even be tapping harder than you thought you were, and just didn't know it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The issue is that I can touch as softly as possible and still have the link not open. I'm talking soft!

I must have a more cooperative phone than some. I use 3d touch frequently and like it. It causes me no problems when opening links.
