3D Touch - Problem?

So I noticed in some screens that Maps has 3D Touch shortcuts from the home screen, and I get no shortcuts. Also, IG supposedly has them as well but they aren't working for me. Does Maps actually have 3D Touch shortcuts?

Everything else, like Peek and Pop work. Just not those applications.

i think instagram hasn't updated the app to support it.. Twitter did last night. give it a week.

in relation to maps, you should have force touch available.. i do

No, I'm not. There are no options. It just shakes and then stops. All the other shortcuts work.

I'm actually on 9.1 beta.. But it worked on both 9.0 and 9.0.1. Have you tried a hard reset?

Yes, Instagram is updated for 3D touch.

Instagram still supports it inside the app but not on the home screen.

It no longer works in Music, and for Messages it only gives me the option for "new message" now.

Instagram has been working since yesterday for me. I think user error, during the learning period, are responsible.

I don't think it applies in this case, but note that after an app has been updated with 3D Touch, you sometimes have to launch the app at least once before you'll get the home screen shortcuts.

I have the same option.

I have already opened IG, thinking that might be the case; but it still doesn't work.

Glad to see I'm not the only one. And no, this is not user error considering I can use it fine elsewhere with no problem.

i have noticed that on the homescreen the app switcher doesn't work either or live photo

9.0.1 here. No force touch shortcuts here on either options! They just wiggle when I press hard.

You guys, I played around with it, and all the menus began working when I press REAL HARD and press the button with more pressure towards the top part of the icon.. *shrugs*

It works for me. The only problem I have with Instagram is it force closing when I try to search for something. Is anyone else having this problem?

Have you opened it so it could sync the file list? I ask because I also couldn't get it to work until I did that.
