My 3g was running VERY slow pre-update. Would literally take a minute to type out an email, with a 2 second hang on just about every letter. So slow that I have been literally counting the days until I could purchase a 4g.

The 3g is flying post-update. No more lag whatsoever. None. Very pleased.

My 3G's (not 3gs..) was apparent a while back.. just seemed to be getting slower and slower. iOS 4 with added features doesn't help but I wouldn't say it's much slower.

I was playing angry birds earlier and got a text, thought the damned thing was going to explode.

LMAO just thought that was funny as hell for some reason.

But yeah mine runs faster now...

My 3G is working great.

It feels faster, but I'd take a guess and say that it's not actually running any faster, only that the animations have been sped up so that it just seems like it's faster.

Also, it seems to close apps nice and smoothly now. Whatever they changed about the closing animation or programming, I almost don't get the "suddenly it's the home screen" thing anymore.

Now come on iPhone 4 in Canada! I wanna pre order you and destroy Rogers' servers! :D:D:D

I'm having serious battery issues after the upgrade. (3G version).

Battery totally died about 3pm today, with normal use. It usually lasts all day long.

I heard something about Wifi staying on when its asleep that may be an issue. Anyone else hear anything?

I dont even think I can rollback the phone.

I didn't notice any difference in speed upgrading my 3G. It's weird so many people have complaints. I'm glad I upgraded, I was almost going to hold out.
