So technically they could open it at midnight on the 10th - a full 3 hours before the keynote. I call BS.

I know it's just a box, but why weren't any other pictures taken?

With all of these "important" pictures, it seems like they are all taken with crap cameras and at one angle, what gives?

Its called it was takin with an iPhone!

Why would the return address be a PO Box...how the heck would they take it back if shipment were undeliverable?

That don't open thing is TOTALLY photoshoped
i work with photoshop im a sophmore in high school...i can tell... i use it ALot

anyone else notice that its sitting at someones personal desk or home computer.. dont you think if these were shipped out (in bulk) it would be on a pallet in a warehouse and NOT allowed to LEAVE that warehouse. Its not like when new technology comes in, some random person who works in a warehouse can just take it out into their office and take a picture of the box.

Also, if it IS a shipment of new iphones, the individual box would not have ANY shipping information. Again, it would be palleted. If it is NOT part of a bigger shipment, then who is the lucky person who is getting a personal delivery to their work or home of unreleased technology.

NO REAL.

I don't think this has to be true. I know people that are AT&T resellers and such and they receive product just like this. In brown boxes with labels from fedex. Hell games and stuff and shipped the same way into game stores.

Now it looks like the shipping label is local mail.

I want this box opened the moment the packaging says it can be. I want pictures taken proving that it is indeed the same box. This box needs to contain an Apple product that will be displayed at the Keynote.

Until then, they don't have it.

Perhaps that label is on both the top and bottom? *shrug*

That would actually be a smart idea. That way you couldn't say ooh i didn't even see that on the top.

I still call fake, but I'm open to belief...If i get more proof.

hopefully some retard will open it and take pics

PLEASE LET THIS HAPPEN!!!!!

Fake.

Come on. You're telling me that if you had a 3G iPhone sitting in a box, you wouldn't just open it up, take pictures of it, and e-mail it in anonymously to Mac Rumors? How could they police that?

Totally plausible.

Could be iPhone materials like specs, manual, training materials, or display mockup. Mid-day on June 9th all will be revealed - no more secrets. Doubtful it is an actual iPhone though.

According to my source today some local distribution centers got 100's of the iPhone in today. Going to be moved to AT&T stores over the weekend and during next week.

Not sure what is happening on the apple end.

Here you go.

Notice it is taped to the BOTTOM OF THE BOX. Idiots.

Hmm - that box is about the size of the BT keyboard - in a square.

That's much bigger than an iPhone box - could it be a tablet box? Or just some type of glossy placards of some new iPhone?
