reading this thread is leaning towards signing up with Verizon. I'll be able to facetime with 3g with a jailbroken phone and don't have to worry about a data limit. I also want to use Netflix a lot while in the car so my daughter can watch cartoons. I won't be able to do this with the AT&T version.
Why won't you be able to do so with AT&T version?
I've learned one thing in this thread:
Verizon people now insist that anyone on AT&T has trouble making calls when that couldn't be farther from the truth. I think It's been a year since I've had a dropped call. AT&T speeds and call quality have been amazing for me. I'm staying right where I am, with AT&T.
And AT&T people assume that since they have good success with AT&T that everyone does...
Interesting cause I'm in LA and always dropped calls on my AT&T iPhones. Ever go to Silverlake with AT&T? A total joke! And our house up in Big Bear? Nada! Nothing! AT ALL! I'll be much happier on Verizon.![]()

Verizon has been doing a very good job in their advertising leading people to believe that all people with AT&T have trouble making calls.
I bet there are areas where Verizon is a 'joke' but you don't hear that cause of the advertising campaign by Verizon. I sincerely believe that Verizon is winning in brainwashing people and making fanboys 'most reliable network' and people are drinking the koolaid.

If verizon speed is that slow, goodluck to ya to use face time on 3g and streaming netflix
No you won't (at least not on the iPhone). The iPhone 4 doesn't support HSPA+ lol.
