So is it not possible to jailbreak my iPhone 3GS (my S/N is ***32CLH3NP & M/N is MC135LL) without having had saved shsh hash when I previously jailbroke it...I made mistake & updated my 3.1.2 to the current 4.0 I'm really pissed about it lol

So the question is this: If my iphone was upgraded to 4.0.1 and i have the SHSH blob for my 4.0 in Saurik's server. Is it POSSIBLE to downgrade to a jailbroken 4.0 firmware hence making my iphone JB?

First of all, don't bump threads. Second of all, you can only jailbreak a 3GS at 3.1.3 or earlier. If you can downgrade to 3.1.2, you can jailbreak with redsn0w and then upgrade to a custom 4.0 firmware; if you can downgrade to 3.1.3, you can jailbreak with Spirit; if you can only downgrade to 4.0, you will not be able to jailbreak until new tools are released.
