I loved the CaseCrown Standby Bold on my older iPad. They have the new one for the Air at 1 penny plus 5 bucks shipping on amazon. Great price and a very nice case. Not the thinnest and lightest case, but nice when you want something a little more rugged. I'll probably pick one up and alternate between that and the Smart Cover.

I pulled the trigger today on two separate cases on sale at Amazon.

Both have the smart case style but for much less. Brands are Moko and RooCase. The RooCase has an origami smart cover that folds in different orientations for viewing the iPad.

Each case was about $5 shipped and use faux-leather.

I decided to go with the rooCASE iPad Air SlimShell Origami as well.

$4.99, including shipping! Delivered by November 14.

Not a huge fan of the "Bomb Proof" style cases, just to bulky for my taste. The iPad is so thin to begin with, the bulk is something I can live with until Speck comes out with a Pixel Skin case.
