They're now on sale for $238.01. Not sure why the .01. I checked earlier today and they were down to $269.99, so I'm not sure if they'll keep dropping the price or what.
Just a quick update as my WD 3TB Green arrived today. Unfortunately despite pre-formatting it a 3TB HFS+ volume in the Mac neither the Voyager Q or the Macally enclosure could recognise it correctly - they showed it as 850GB. I have therefore have to use it internally. Looks like I need to buy a 3TB external as well now as the bridge chips must be more up to date. It's a shame they only seem to be USB 3.0
According to the information on the site, it only supports up to 2TB.
That doesn't mean it won't handle 3TB disks, but it's a risk (we need a guinea pig - hint, hint).

I have 6 of them purchased on sale. what I don't have is a 3tb hdd! if someone wants one mailed out to them for testing please let me know. i have an external sata pci e card that port multiplies like from owc . this could be a very low cost raid0 solution. a 6tb one via software raid0. I have a card and the enclosure I would mail the owc card and the enclosure to anyone with some 3tb hdds. not as a sale but for testing this is the card

I would ship them to anyone for testing in the usa via flat rate postal. I know they will do 4tb raid0 and 2 tb raid1 with that card. I have done so with wd2003fyys 2tb hdds right now I am short funds to buy a pair of 3tb hdd. do I have any takers? I would mail them out for free . Just mail them back after the test. of course if some one has a pair of 3tb hdds and want to send them to me I can test them out.

I ordered a pair of 3tb wd's hdds. I purchased them on ebay new sealed the pair was 330 which is a good price. I have quite a few cases to test them in. so in a week or so I will let you know what they work with.
