4.1 Dual socket cpu-tray in single cpu Mac Pro?

Hi guys, it doesn't seems like there are any threads on this topic, yet the question is very simple: Can i swap the single-cpu daughterboard/cpu-tray in a 2009 Mac Pro for a dual-socket daughterboard?

Are there some differences in the mainboard-architecture that will prevent me from installing a dual socket tray in a single-cpu machine and vice versa?
