Awesome...I wish they would give us an ESTIMATED time though. Even if we just got told: within a week.
Yeah that has been driving me nuts lately. This should be a user selectable feature since Apple doesn't possess the engineering know how to make it work correctly.

As others have said, this is not the official site. Didn't we see some fishy posts from this site regarding the 4.0.1 jailbreak?

I updated my firmware to 4.1 without updating the baseband.. but as expected Cydia is gone... I bet I can live without the contact photos for a while I guess.

True that is not the official Spirit JB site, however the message from ipog2G is real, so the article actually is pretty credible.

With a tethered jailbreak you have to rerun the jailbreak when the device is turned off or if you respring it to get it past the loading screen. Untethered this isn't required.
Tethered: every time you reboot, turn off or similar, you have to hook it up to a computer for it to run the jb and by jailbroken again.
Untethered: no matter if you turn the phone off or wtver else you will still be jb and have to do nothing about it since the code for the jb resides on an area that doesn't get affected by reboot or turning off/on the device.
Tethered JB means eveytime the phone needs to reboot, you have to connect it to a computer and use the JB program again to get phone to restart correctly to the lockscreen. While, with untethered JB, you can reboot like normal.
Spiritjb.org is a joke sight claimed exclusive jb interview with Comex about the 4.1 jb acting like it is all in Comex hands again. Instead of pod2g, Sight also gives allot of misinformation & bad advice.
Anyone else notice the new tweak in Cydia? HDR Camera Enabler by ShadowSonic2 supposedly enables HDR on a 3GS. Requires 4.1 and above, but 4.1 isn't hacked yet... am I losing my mind?

While the information presented on that site MAY be credible, any legitimate site shouldn't feel the need to cash in on the same domain name of a credible team member by using an alternate TLD. Sites like this are scum to me and I won't read their site. I certainly won't give them banner views or clicks to support their deceit.
