I'm waiting for my 42 SS BSB that has a 4/6 week delivery. Read some reports of people having ordered 42 SS WSB on the 23rd/24th with June delivery, and have already had charges/shipping.

Decided to give it a go and see what happens.....

I just did that as well. I haven't seen many people talking about it.

I'm not the leach on society talking about how they will get something for free because they didn't get a watch they weren't promised on the 24th.

A leech on society is someone who lives off of the backs of the taxpayer and depends on the efforts of others to sustain them. Someone who gets a free goodie from a company they feel has treated them poorly is a demanding consumer.

If Apple doesn't want to appease unhappy customers, that's their prerogative. If they do, it's really no skin off your nose.

I've scanned these pages 100 times, and can't seem to find anyone with my watch models. Maybe I'm just bad at reading and searching! ;) I ordered two watches on 4/10, between 8am and 8:30am EST. The models are:

Apple Watch 42mm Stainless Steel Case with Black Leather Loop (Large)

&

Apple Watch 42mm Stainless Steel Case with White Sport Band

Shipping date for both is May 13 - May 27. Has anyone ordered these and had them shipped early? I'm ok waiting, since I know I ordered pretty late, but am just curious. And as FYI, I ordered from and shipping to NY.

No changes for me. Still processing item

Apple Watch 42mm Stainless Steel with Black Leather Loop

Let's play pin the tail on your arrival date!

For those of us who have yet to see any progress on our orders, what is your best (random) guess as to when you'll get it? Post all the vitals of your order and take a stab at it, then when you get it see how close you were.

Me: 38mm Space Gray
Confirmation email at 12:20:06 (Apple Time)
Initial window: 5/13 to 5/27
Michigan, U.S.

My guess is I will receive it May 8.

I base this on my iPhone 6+ experience and the sudden large movement of this model.

No. If you see a pending then it means your bank told Apple your CC is OK for the charge. Pendings last for a few days so it may mean Apple is getting ready to ship your watch. It might also just mean Apple wanted to make sure your CC is still good for the purchase. There really is no "bright line" on what a pending means during an inventory restrained launch like this. In fact, in past Apple iPad and iPhone launches the actual charge didn't even show until I had the item in my hands.

Ah alright, seems like it might be what you said, about Apple just wanting to make sure I had the funds. Guess its just waiting now then.

I might get my watch on 5/19 because; I'm having a tooth implanted on that day AND I'm supposed to attend a lecture my hubby's giving that evening.
What else could possibly happen?

Count me in for the "no movement" camp. Anything would be nice at this point.

Ditto. Two 38mm space gray sports ordered 2 and 3 minutes after apple store app went live. Been processing since a couple of minutes after I placed the orders.

confirmation at 12:10 pst , 42 SS milanese, no updates.

What annoys me the most about this delay is that I was sitting there refreshing the site at 12:01 with my order saved, it took 7 minutes for the site to come online, guess I missed the memo apple sent out about the phone app being the way to go...

I did the same thing, but the apps weren't options because I wanted to use my PayPal Credit account and you can't do that through anything but the actual website. It was killing me seeing people placing orders while the website refused to load.

Not particularly upset or anything, but it would be nice to be able to actually pre-order an Apple device and have it arrive on launch day. The only time I've been able to do that was when the 3G iPad 1 was released, or when I've waited in line for iPhones. I went for the online pre-order to get my 6+ figuring there wouldn't be many 128GB models in the stores, and I think most of us remember how that went.

Anyone have a 42mm SG Sport model delivered in this batch yet? I haven't seen anyone moment and want to see if anyone else has their status updated?

Space Grey Sport, 42mm.
Received "Thank you for your order" email from Apple at: Fri, 10 Apr 2015 00:05:47
May 13 - 27 (4-6 weeks shipping).
Still in processing hell. :(

From threads that I've seen today it doesn't look like Apple has even shipped out all 4/24 -5/8 42 SG watches looks like they're up to the :03 mark. It's going to be awhile.

I just don't get why the bands weren't sold separately. Look at the pink group....I'm sure if just given the option to order another band, they would. Or if the watch arrived before your band, I'm sure no one would be too upset about going to the store and picking up the second band they likely planned on buying down the road anyways.

Selling and shipping the bands separately would have made Apple more money upfront (more people buying multiple bands)

No EOD, no CC, no hope.

I'd be surprised if they don't do that for the next one. Maybe kind of like a Mac order: Choose your watch size, finish, band.

I do understand they underestimated the demand (it happens, I'm over it), but I'd be surprised if they don't learn from this and change the way you order next time.
