Just curious if anyone else has this.

Ordered 4/22, 42mm Milanese Loop. Order status shows 5-6wks but Apple Store app shows 4-6 wks when you look up the watch on the app.

Ordered a 42mm SS WSB today, and was quoted 4-6 weeks (June 29-July 13).

Also take into account, you ordered it on 4/22. Apple just recently updated the 42s to 4-6 weeks. This happened a couple of days ago.

It'll change. Same thing happened to me. When I saw it changed to 4-6 weeks, I went in to check my order status and saw 5-7 weeks awhile ago. I think it was yesterday that it changed to 4-6 weeks. I guess they just trying to catch up with all orders with their status.

4-6 week lead-time for website, versus 5-6 wk order

Just finished chatting with Apple sales rep, who wrote that my 42 mm SS ML order (placed 4-25) would deliver two weeks before an order placed for the same watch today. She said she did a "test order" to confirm this. When I replied that, based on her information, I should expect to receive the watch in about two weeks as opposed to a month (i.e. two weeks sooner than the 4 weeks listed for a new order), she of course wrote that she couldn't be specific. However, this suggests to me that the current June 22-29, 5-6 week delivery estimates are very conservative and that we may be receiving delivery in a couple of weeks. Or at least I hope so...

That estimate we got for 5-6 weeks is 5-6 weeks from Order date, not from the date of status update. So, for example, if you ordered on 4/24, it would be 5-6 weeks from 4/24 which puts you at the first week on June. I think they are really trying to be conservative with the delivers by range of 6/22-6/29

I think you mean 5/22-5/29 lool

I agree. I ordered on 4/18 and originally got the generic June ship. Last Thursday it changed to 5-6 weeks ship and the delivers June 22-29 . But 5-6 weeks is based on the order date so it should be a shipping of 5/25-6/1. They are being very conservative with the delivers date just in case.

My estimated delivery is 6/22-6/29 and I ordered on April 24th. Someone I know ordered today(5/21) with a delivery date of 6/29-7/09. How can someone order almost a month after me the same watch(42mm SS White sport band) and get 1 week after me delivery?!?

People are getting hung up on the delivers date instead of concentrating on the ships estimate.

Can someone decode this for me?
Preordered on 4/11 at 3:42pm EST
Showing "June 22-29th" (5-6 weeks) but Apple store is showing "4-6 weeks" if someone orders today?
So I preordered for...?
I have faith that they'll fulfill all preorders first, but goddamn does that sting.

Could someone explain some of the dates i.e. Available to Ship vs. Delivers, when the 5-6 week window starts, why is the delivers window 8 days etc...I'm a logistics novice, by that I mean idiot. Pls be kind :)

WEEK 1: APRIL 25 - MAY 1 <--- "Ordered On April 25" ("Available to ship: June")
WEEK 2: MAY 2 - MAY 8
WEEK 3: MAY 9 - MAY 15
WEEK 4: MAY 16 - MAY 22 <--- (Now) "Available to ship: 5-6 weeks"
WEEK 5: MAY 23 - MAY 29
WEEK 6: MAY 30 - JUNE 5 <--- End of 5-6 weeks (if going by order date)
WEEK 7: JUNE 6 - JUNE 12
WEEK 8: JUNE 13 - JUNE 19
WEEK 9: JUNE 20 - JUNE 26
WEEK 10: JUNE 27 - JUNE 29 (JULY 3) <--- "Delivers: June 22 - June 29"

Why does it sting?

It should be expected that as time passes ship times will decrease.

Realistically unless you were within the few minute window for launch day delivery. It's more of an order than pre order.

Just frustrating that there's 0 communication about it. Some of us preordered in hopes that we'd be one of the firsts with an Apple Watch. Now we're seeing bands be stocked in stores, people getting better lead times for orders..it's all just confusing is all.

I understand.

Don't worry about the estimate.

I'm sure shipping will be in time order so if website says 4-6 you should be happy. I'd translate to meaning I'll likely get mine in half that or less since I ordered sooner.

Good luck.

I was wondering if they're predicting that "4-6 week" window from your original order date OR the release date (4/24/15).
Even if they're overestimating at the release date, they're at about 15 days from 6 weeks on the dot.

Thanks bud! If you look at my most recent post "4-6 weeks" (even after release date) is within 2 weeks. Here's to hoping we'll have them on our wrists before they start stocking stores.
;)

Mine is the same with a 42 SS WSB. Says 5-6 weeks on order status with 6/22-6/29. Store says 4-6 weeks on shipment time. It may just be they guesstimate dates differently between each section. 6/22 is exactly a month from today, so it's basically 4.5-5.5 weeks. I'd love to see it jump up, but I've been through this for a month now and know how it works. Uggghhh.

See, 4-5wk ship date if I were to buy it right now..., and I'm on 5-6wk ship date on my 4/22 PREorder.

I suppose I couldn't care less, the minute I see the option to buy and pick up in store, I'm doing that then canceling my preorder.. The hell with it! haha
