How are ya'll be able to exhange iphones with low to no stock of iphone at the Apple store? Is Apple keeping a bunch of iphone for exhange/returns?

Because it makes my product more expensive, it gets built into the price, and I shouldn't have to pay for others indecisiveness or incompetence with purchasing. If you want this option you should have to pay for it.

I get both sides, but this is not exclusive to Apple. Most products have a return policy. You've never returned a product?

I just kept an eye on the stock at my local Apple Store and when I saw they had some 6+'s in stock I went and stood in line.

Nope, never returned anything. I do my research and know what I am buying..

I picked up my 6+ on Saturday the day after launch. My 14 days return policy is coming up on 10 days. I love this phone, especially the battery, I'm also somewhat of a "power user". However I constantly go back and forth between keeping my 6+ or returning it for the regular 6. I want to keep the 6+ but just fear it won't fit into my lifestyle in the long term, and that I might possibly be happier with the 6. Then as I said I also love the 6+, especially the battery and the screen quality. Carrying it in the pocket is not really an issue, what I am concerned about is the one hand use at 8.5" hand span and how giant the phone gets adding a case. Gripping this phone is not much of an issue after I added ZAGG type shield on the whole phone. I've looked at numerous reviews and read countless threads. I know it comes down to personal preference however it's such a hard decision as many of you have posted on these forums.

What did all of you do, which phone should I keep?

I do not read anything here that the Plus would not fit into your lifestyle and the size does not appear to be a problem.

What have you done with the Plus in these 10 days to question it is not a good overall fit?

Power user per se? You best keep the Plus.

Just after 10 days it's still a huge phone and I feel it, more when holding it vs being in my pocket. I definitely have gotten more used to it but as someone said if I keep second guessing my decision with this plus it might be best to just exchange it.

and yeah I feel for all of you who want a plus but are unable to get one and all of us who have them have been returning them (well many people not all). Thought it was the phone for me with all the better features but the size is another thing i didn't see as big of a deal that it is.

Did the opposite. Returned the 6 and now have a 6+ on order. Loved everything about the 6, but screen real estate-wise wasn't much of an upgrade from a 5S. 6+ isn't as unwieldy as everyone makes it seem. Not saying it isn't a big device by all means, but for me iPhones have become a media consumption devices. No longer used as a phone, so therefore my jump to more screen real estate.

Hope that helps.

I bought the 6 at launch. I got the Plus last Friday and in only two days after I knew the 6 was a goner.

The size really changes in perspective, obviously not overall device size. Sure I wish the bezels were smaller but its thinness makes up for it from my utilization and handling it.

You watch videos, play games, browse a lot, need more life from the battery because you use it the whole day? If the answer is yes for most of these then go with the Plus.

And I feel I would not upgrade the Plus next year but I would the 6.

Here my 2 cents (opinion)...

I had the 6 for 8 days. It is the perfect size when it comes to carrying, and handling. You can one-hand type if that is your thing, and it feels very natural in your hand. You are able to focus 100% on what you are doing, without worrying about dropping the phone, or making adjustments while you type and read.

I have an astigmatism, but could read most things just fine with the 6. The main exception was web browsing. Some sites were very readable, and with others, I had to spend a lot of time adjusting the size.

Viewing pictures, was ok, but not great. Youtube videos were ok, but I couldn't watch them for long. I keep moving closer to make the image bigger. Of course, you can only get so close.

Also, I kept rotating the screen thinking I would get landscape mode. Most of the time, the 6 wouldn't do it. The plus goes into landscape mode for more things of course.

In short, I thought the 6 was perfect from a handling/carrying perspective, but I wanted a larger screen for some things.

So, last night I scored a 6 Plus at the Apple store. I am still getting used to it, but here are my early thoughts...

It isn't much bigger, but it is an adjustment both carrying, and handling. When I put it in my front pocket, the phone is more noticeable when I walk. Holding the phone isn't as natural yet. I am still adjusting my grip a lot. I think I will get used to this soon.

For me, one handed typing is off the table with the 6 Plus. Even with the Reachability feature. one-handed use is difficult. Fortunately for me, even with the 4" screens, I usually used 2 hands.

This phone is much easier to read. Safari is very readable now, and youtube videos are easier to see. As I don't have 20-20 vision these days, the 6 plus screen is a very nice improvement. Typing is easier too. For those of us that fat-finger the stock keyboard, the bigger keyboard is nice.

Also, the battery life is noticeably better. I saw a good improvement going from the iphone 5, to the 6. Going to the 6 plus is another notch up.

In short, the 6 plus is great from a reading/typing point of view. The screen size is fantastic and makes using the phone more enjoyable, for me. It handles less naturally than the 6, IMO, but it isn't bad. You will notice the handling difference in the beginning though.

If you have good eyes, and don't need the extra battery time, the iphone 6 is fantastic. It is quick and easy to use. It's easy to carry, hold, and one-hand type. The 6 plus is a little harder to manage, but many folks will love the bigger screen. I found it noticeably easier to read.

For me, the bigger screen is worth the handling trade-offs. The OP and others will need to decide which trade-offs they prefer. There's no wrong answer, it is a matter of finding the right fit. I hope this info helps some folk sin their decision. ;)

This is something we can't really decide for you because we all have different lifestyles and uses for our devices. I personally first bought the 6 and deep down inside I kept thinking about the plus. It knew if I didn't get my hands on it in time I would regret having the 6. After getting the plus i can confirm my doubt and actually love the Plus. I've always thought iPhones where small and the 4.7 didn't seem much of an upgrade for me as the 5.5 seems. Given it has its slight lag it's worth it being able to see my pictures in full detail as I edit it. If you don't use hour device for other than calls and a few texts then get the 6. I'd recommend the plus for those gamers, designers, and photographers (not that the 6 can't do them either but you get more immersive experience with the plus)

I understand your pain. I have both the 6 and 6+ and May just be keeping both. I had the 6+ since launch and 6 since Saturday. I used the 6 mostly yesterday and was missing the larger screen but loving portability.

It's a struggle :-/

Another with both right now unable to decide. I got the smaller one 5 days after the plus and traveled with both, alternating days with each. They both have their advantages; battery life is better on the plus, though the 6 lasted me a good moderately heavy day too. I'm a nightly charger but like the comfort of knowing I could hit the device hard without worrying. My hands are large and in actuality I find it easier to hold (but not use) the plus compared to the 6 (which requires me to clamp down a bit more with my hands leading to more fatigue). One handed use is doable on the plus with effort but easy on the 6. And finally, ebooks, movies, and TV are incredible on the larger phone. I'm a doctor and spend very little time speaking on my device; I use it to look up information, glance at PDFs, etc. and I have both an iPad mini and Air at home (the mini always got the heavy use when I had my 5S, debating now if a 6+Mini or 6 plus + air are the ideal convo).
