I agree with you 100%. I was really hoping for a 5S-sized 6. I printed out the 6 template and cut out a poster board in the shape of the phone. When I hold it like I currently hold my 5 with my pinky supporting it underneath, I can't reach the top and especially not the top-right of the screen. I use my phone one-handed 99.9% of the time. using the double-tap of the home button to slide the screen down means 3 presses instead of one for app buttons in top-right corner. I was so looking to upgrade to the 6, but I'm definitely going to try one out in-store first. I'm seriously considering just getting a 5S.

The 4S is "ok" ish if you turn off transparency effects and other features it's my primary device. I'd say using the 4S on iOS 7 as an example of how well iOS works on older devices is a poor choice.
Not in comparison to the 4. Much better overall support for iOS 7.
