Getting the 44mm. I have worn the original AW, but revisiting and try it again with series 4. While it has gotten big the AW$ is thinner. isn't it? Anyway i'll try the 44mm and if doesn't work out I can always exchange for a 40mm.
In comparison with the original Series 0, the S4 is actually a tad thicker, 0.2mm or so, but we shouldn't notice that at all. I mean, 0.2mm ...

I'll go for 44 just because of my old bands (for 42mm) that will fit :)

I currently have the 42mm watch but have heard that the 42mm straps will ONLY fit the new 44mm watch and not the 40mm watch?

Even though the 40mm watch has a slightly bigger screen than the 42mm, this is now gonna be an issue for me as wanted to go for the 40mm but now none of my 42mm straps will fit.
:(

40. Wearing 38 now and as a female with small wrists - was hesitant at first but with the thinner size I think it’ll look better

Pre-ordered the 44mm Gold SS with Milanese loop, but I'm not 100% sure it's gonna be a great fit. Currently using the 42mm Series 2, and it fits my wrist perfectly. Tried the 38mm in the past and it was way too small for my taste.

Definitely going with a 44 stainless steel. I was thrilled to hear the 42 watch bands are compatible with the 44. I have a rather large collection of watch bands and now, I don’t have to start over

I currently have the 42mm Series 3 and really had no plans to upgrade the watch this year. (Xs ordered last night for 9/21 delivery.) But this afternoon, I was looking around on the site, I saw that lavender grey sport band and was like ohhh that's pretty so I added it to the cart. And then I was wondering how far shipping dates had slipped and it's 1st 2nd week of Oct already.

And then I saw the trade in link. And wondered how much my Cellular S3 would get and figured $225 wasn't bad since I got a $100 discount on it last year through my insurance. So now all this stuff is in my cart and then someone hit the checkout button and used my credit card to pay for it. :p

So the 44mm Silver Nike Cellular S4 will be here 2nd week of Oct. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I pre-ordered the Series 4 44mm Space Black Stainless Steel - Space Black Milanese Loop. I made the mistake of not doing any prior research. I have a Series 2, and wanted the 4 but didn't see info while ordering on AT&T on whether it's GPS + LTE enabled. It looks like it's only LTE enabled. I just want it to be able to take calls and track my swimming.

40 sg from 42 s3 sssb.

44 screams “nerd” imo. I only use my watch for notifications and airpod remote at the gym.

I got the 44mm for both my boyfriend and myself - I have a preposterous amount of money sunk into Apple OEM bands for my existing Series 2 and love that they’ll all still work with the new watch.

Band compatibility is what steered me toward the 44mm model. Any of the newer models are better than what I'm using (S0 42mm SS) now, so I'm just happy to finally upgrade after 3+ years.

This will be my first Apple Watch. I have small wrists about 170 mm circumference and decided to order the 44 mm one because of my aging eyes. I hope it doesn’t look ridiculous on me. The 42 mm I tried the store looked fine so I’m hoping that the 44 mm will still be fine.

This is what made me get the 40. I was sick at the thought of having to purchase allllll my bands in another size! LOL
