Same predicament here. 42mm SS Milanese, 3:04am EDT confirmation. Amex. No reauthorization, still in processing state. On the other hand, 38mm Sport White band authorized and preparing for shipment.

Is it possible that these particular models are already in the States, whereas the Sport models (which have seen the most movement so far) are being shipped from abroad, namely from China, and, as such, require more time to arrive to local distribution centers? This would explain why these models are being charged and changing status first, as they need more time to arrive.

Thoughts?

I just think the Milanese bands are in tighter supply and very popular.

This is too logical for my liking....:p

My 42mm SS Milanese was ordered at 2:08am (central), and is still processing with delivery date 4/24 - 5/8. Good news is my extra charger is preparing for shipment! :p

Just another data point...

- Ordered mine @ 12:02am PDT on 4/10
- CC was charged at 2:41pm PDT today
- Status moved to "Preparing for Shipment" a few minutes after

I agree. Hopefully I'm wrong, but all indicators based on the reports here are pointing to the initial allocation being depleted by orders up until 12:02-12:03 AM.

Unfortunately looks like a few of the 12:02-12:03 orders reported here, including mine, weren't included. Probably due to minor processing delays or something.

“Minor processing delays” would have to include -- their SITE BEING DOWN until like 3:30am (thank god for the app)!

Which is why the delivery date range is there, blast. :(

On an up note ... we’re only really seeing a total of like 300 varied watches accounted for and being prepared for shipping -- Announced on this site, in the discussion boards by site members, by real people. I think they (Apple) may have planned for more than that number!

Just charge my card already...please?

Now I'm going to need to find way to make the week pass by even quicker, maybe I'll do yard work? Yuck!

Ordered 42mm SS Milanese @ 3:02EST and 38mm SS white sport @3:04am. The white sport is preparing for shipping, but no movement on Milanese#

My order confirmation was at 3:04am and my order still shows processing....

My wife's 38mm SS w/ sport band is 'preparing for shipment'

Also, on another up note, as we all wait around and commiserate as the dejected bastard children just awaiting our turn… our watches are going to be the most Game of Thrones-like! Chain-mail and all! Very King of the North! Starks, baby! Jon Snow. Anyone? Anyone?
