42 Sport WSB Shipping Times (USA)

Same here! Apple's expected shipping dates sure are liberal.
All you still waiting for PFS, don't fret! Your watch will most definitely arrive weeks sooner than expected.
I ordered my 42mm Sport with WSB on May 11th using the Education Store, once I saw they still had a "June" shipping date (I had previously placed an order for the same model on May 4th, in the regular store). Lo and behold, my education model is preparing for shipment while the May 4th model was still processing (to be delivered in 5-7 weeks). A week-and-a-half turn around time from ordering to PFS? Pretty cool, Apple.
Grr, I wish I had realized this before I ordered. I am a HS teacher and didn't even consider logging into the Education store online, since I figured we wouldn't get a discount there wasn't a point.
Oh well, my order was May 2, and it sounds like orders are now caught up to 4/30... Only one day between my order now!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the watch you ordered on the edu store on May 11th is PFS?!?!?
Could you post a pic? Not trying to be a jerk, but it's a little hard to believe.
Sure. I'm really surprised! I was expecting the May 4th order to ship sooner, and not for a couple weeks at that.

That's.... amazing! Enjoy when you get it! I ordered on May 8th from the normal store and still have the June 23th-July 8th camp, so that's why I'm so supprised.
So could ordering on the edu store lead to a faster shipped watch? Has anyone else confirmed this? Am I missing something?!?!
The shipping times have equilibrated between the normal store and the education store (both say 42mm watches ship in 4-6 weeks), but at the time, 42mm watches from the normal store were shipping in "July" while the very same watches were shipping in "June" when shown in the education store.
Regular shipping times for the 42 WSB are improving quite quickly it seems.
I just checked the US store listing, and that model currently ships in 4-6 weeks. I am pretty sure that it read 5-7 just a few days ago.
(In fact, my May 2 order still reads 5-7. Probably just a matter of time before it's updated.)
Any guesses on when they will get the watches down to "In Stock" and ready to ship immediately? July maybe?

I ordered on May 7 from an Apple Store after my try on (Not that it should matter at all.) I'm still in the 5-7 week category. I expect that to change daily.
When Tim Cook announced that the
Watch in on track to be in the Apple Stores in June a lot of people got upset claiming that they were sidelining on line orders to get the watches into the stores.
However, I was happy to hear it, as I believe that Apple will do the right thing and actually speed up the on line orders. This is what Tim meant when he said things were "on track". That they would be able to satisfy the existing orders while getting the watches into the stores.
It appears that I was right.

It took a bit less than 24 hours for me. I had gotten charged the night of the 19th with the PFS message and then saw yesterday around 6 that it would be shipped out today
