Next Friday I move into a new house AND pick up a brand new car. Receiving my AW on that day would be too much!

Also from what I remember from the 6+ is the last few digits of order# were more indicative of "your place in line for shipping" than what time your confirmation came through. In that thread you could pretty much watch the xxxx1,000s get confirmation, then the xxxx2,000s, and so on.

Well I am in the xxxx1,000s and have not gotten a status change yet. Is everyone else pretty much in that?

I am xxxx22xxx, see my sig for info.

Lets see what happens but take it out one number further. I am xxxxx58,xxx. As soon as I see movement I'll post something.

I am Wxxxxx7000's and received confirmation at the 05 mark for the 42 model, so I don't know that the trend follows here.

Well they easily have more than 9,999 order so no way 4 digits of the order number is enough to tell you where you are at in line. Maybe the whole order number but definetly not the last 4.

I'm not pinning too much down to order numbers or times. At the end of the day the first come first serve thing only works so well. I doubt Apple could track an exact order through the supply chain across countries and cities to make sure a watch ordered xx:03 arrives before xx:04. I think it's probably done by what works logistically by country rather than a person's order time within batches but I could be wrong.

Mine isn't due until 12/5-27/5 but hoping they ramp up SG production to speed things up.

Truth.. Not going to post my whole number tho lol

I just spent 5 min scrolling through the 6+ waiting forum trying to figure out what numbers we were using and and it was exhausting to relive so I gave up.

On the bright side everyone it is Friday. :D

What I did notice was the cutoff on the iPhone 6 seemed to be around the 15-20 min mark in. And that's likely for people who had a free upgrade or didn't mind paying full price.

It makes the Watch selling out -- especially at $350-400 in 3-4 min that much more understandable.

Even with the iphone 6 if you take into account the different memory options you have only 18 possible options. With the watch you have 48 different options. This along with it being an entirely new product with no historical data caused apple to probably hedge on what they produced pre launch. I would guess that not many watches at all were made prior to the 4/10 preorder date. Hopefully production increases in speed and everyone who preordered on the 10th gets the watch by mid to late May.

I don't think the order number is indicative of anything to do with shipping priority this time.

I had both the app and website open. I got in on the app but it hung so I went back to the website. Got through, and a few minutes later noticed the app had gone through as well. So I ended up with two orders.

The app order number (about 5 minutes earlier than the website) is in no way lower than the second order number. No matter how you slice it, taking the first few digits, the latter digits, nothing.

More I think about it I believe you are both probably correct, with all the options/versions for the watch a single consecutive order number system would not work.

It worked once so it was worth a shot but appears to not be applicable here.

We as in people who ordered a watch and got a delivery window of 5/13-5/27 are starting to get charged and move to preparing for shipment.

what time was your e-mail confirmation? Mine was at 3:08am? were you charged already? I'm in this group, too.

No charge yet for me, but it seems that a large number of people in the XX:04 window are getting charged. Most people seem to be posting on Reddit or the other macrumors threads.

I'm in the xxx1,000s as well. My confirmation email timestamp is XX:11, so I'd be surprised if I was ahead in the line.

I'm still processing, with no email, charge or movement of any kind since the order.
