Haha just apple casually charging a million space gray cards at once. That's a great theory - in that case, I expect my watch tomorrow!

I absolutely agree. The idea of ordering a colour you don't really want (especially at this price) just because you can't wait a couple of weeks to get the colour you truly want, boggles the mind.
except (though I cant find it) apple is offering free in-store exchanges (or different bands for price difference) to help minimize people returning the watch. So I should have ordered the crappy green one and then exchanged it for the color of my choice.
on a sadder note, I went back into the apple store 5 minutes later and ordered the milaneese loop anyway. I just wish I would have thought that through more...lol
No activity here unfortunately, got confirmation at 12:04:48AM. Just called to change my payment info just in case since I paid with apple pay and have since restored my iPhone; one of the reps told me it would be fine, but I updated it just in case. Chase is not showing any activity right now (they seem to be having problems), so no idea if any charges are happening 🙄. Hoping for a delivery early next week, even though it's technically quoted until the end of next month.

They're just exchanging the straps, and the caveat is: "must be within the same collection as the watch and must be an available band option for that watch face". Even if you got another Sport model, but purchased a black strap you'd have a silver aluminum watch body with a black strap. There's a photo of that side by side with the space grey finish just a few posts up.
While the space grey just sort of melts into the black strap, the contrast of the silver and black combo looks kind of odd and cheap to me. Personally, I don't care for the look of it at all.
no, I want the milaneese loop. I just wish I thought it through in the beginning and just got a green sport since I was changing the band anyway

Just spoke to a rep and the only thing she was able to say when asked if we'd get a sooner delivery than May 13-27th was "If we get them out sooner to you you'll receive an email with the changes" also to check apple.com/orderstatus

maybe...but from infor I have been hearing through the forums is that we would start getting charged in AK so they could be here for tomorrow!! (fingers crossed)
so if I order a 42mm blue sport band, I would receive it either Saturday or Monday? My confirmation time on my 42 mm SG is 00:14 so I don't think I will be getting mine until May. I am very impatient and would probably go ahead and order the blue band if I could get the watch tomorrow or monday. Is this true?
Why oh why did I not just order at 3:02AM from the app? I wanted to use the gift card and waited until the online store came up and got stuck in this group with confirmation email at 3:16. I wish I knew you can change the payment method at a later date.
Getting charged for Apple Care is not the same as for the watch, so that doesn't mean the watch order is confirmed or going any faster for blue.
how unproductive have you been at work for the last 2 working business days? Can only imagine what my employees are thinking? I try to stay busy but I keep going back to refreshing my credit card statement, pulling out the iPhone to see if I got a notification, just to make sure nothing is missed I go ahead check the order page, and then I drop expletives.

If i had my watch I wouldnt have this problem because it could just tap me saying that my order has shipped and I wouldnt constantly have to keep checking!! But I have done 0 work since wednesday, only physically here.

I have an alert on my CC that texts me anytime there's a charge over $100. It's not something I did for this, I've had it on there for years. It's instant too, even if I purchase something at a store, I'll get the text notification before I even leave the till.
It means not having to keep checking because the card will be charged before the status changes. After that's accomplished, they'll send a shipment email when it's on the way, so it means not really having to keep checking at all. 🙂

Agree I need to move on with my life until I see a charge. Luckily, my Amex notifies me of all charges on my phone. 😱
