@ BlueCow, awesome job with the list! I have been just looking for the latest one but, like you said, outliers aren't solid data (rather just luck). This list really helps to see the main bulk of orders that finally went into shipping today.

Just Curious, what is the latest order time someone has for a May 13-27th delivery?

xx:15?

anything later than that?

I was psychologically "upgraded" today.

I thought I was an xx:09 from my email.

Turns out I am a xx:08:53 according to Apple.

FWIW, I just chatted with Apple and my order time is xx:06:56.

My e-mail time was xx:07:02

So to the 7'ers that welcomed me into your group, I say thank you for your kind hospitality, but I need to say goodbye to you to upgrade to the prettier and more popular clique of the 6'ers.

(am I the only one that felt like an ass for bothering customer service for what amounts to a few seconds of difference?)

Go to your order page.
Click on "chat"

Have your order number and address, etc.
Took a couple minutes.

Make sure you ask for the "exact time, including seconds".

They first told me 12:08 and I thought that meant xx:12:08 Then they clarified that it was "12:08:53"

do I ask for confirmation time

Yeah, just ask when the order was entered into the system.

The person I spoke to knew what I was asking for, so I imagine it is a common question, or they are trained on this question.

Unless they give you a xx:yy:zz type answer, ask again. Good luck

This is how I asked the Apple Rep for my order confirmation time:

Me: Hi, I was wondering if I could find out the order time of my Apple Watch as recorded on Apple's servers?

Luma: Hello! My name is Luma. It will be my pleasure to assist you with your Apple Watch order questions.

Luma: Happy to check for you.

Me: Thank you

Luma: May I have your order number please to take a closer look for you?

Me: Yes, the order number is XXXXXXXXX

Luma: Thank you so much! For security purposes can you verify your name and billing address on the order for me please?

Me: XXXXXXXX

Me: XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Luma: Thank you for providing that, it’s a pleasure to meet you XXXX. One moment please while I take a look at your order.

Me: No problem, thank you

Luma: I’m showing you place the Apple Watch order on April 10 at 12:06am.

Luma: Let me check your order for you and confirm there is no delay.

Me: Okay thanks! Some people I know were able to find out what time their order was placed to the second, would it be possible to check that?

Luma: I’m showing your order is processing with no issue and will deliver between May 13 - 27. Very soon my friend!

Me: For example: 12:06:XX

Luma: Sure thing! I’ll gladly pull up the data on that for you.

Luma: One moment please while I do just that.

Me: Thanks!

Luma: Your order was placed at 12:06:33.

Me: Perfect, thank you very much!

Luma: You’re very welcome my friend.

Luma: While you still have me here, is there anything else I can assist you with today?

Me: Nope that's it. Excited to get my Apple Watch soon :)

Me: Thank you!

Luma: Wahoo!! I’m excited for you. I wish you a fantastic evening,

Bluecow wins the Gold Star for Forum Post of the Day.

In case there are any geeks like me fascinated by the numbers and timing of all of this, these are the times listed in this thread who were charged or had change to prepare to shipping today: 37 people by my count. If they listed Apple order time and e-mail confirmation time, I took the earliest time listed. Have a feeling the 6:52 e-mail confirmation may have ordered sooner than that with a longer than usual delay between order and e-mail.

so 36 people on this thread ordered between 06:17 and 06:42. Just imagine extending that to the tens of thousands not on this thread.

If you guys want to know the exact time with seconds, just forward the confirmation email to yourself and it will show you hh:mm:ss

The idiot I just chatted with at Apple would not give me the time my order was placed when asked. She said she could provide the date that the order was placed and the status of the order. Since none of that was going to be helpful (I obviously know the date and order status), I figured I'd waste a little more of her time and have her provide it to me.

I was shocked to hear that I ordered on April 10th and that my order was open and should be delivered sometime between May 13th and the 27th! DUH!

My email time is xx:10, so I have a while to wait...

My guess would be right around Monday/Tuesday for the xx:10 timeframe

Just chatted with Apple rep and, apparently, the seconds weren't noted, but it did process at 12:07 PST on 4/10...so basically the same as the email timestamp. I hope some of those :07 models are arriving soon. I had ordered my little brother a 42mm Aluminum WSB 2 days after my order and it's already here....staring at me while it sits on the shelf until his birthday.
