Wow look at all those 7s. I was feeling hopeless as I am 8:22 but things seem to be moving much quicker. I find it hard to believe less orders were made after 5:00 but it could be a possibility. I didn't get mine in until 8:22 because I didn't realize I could order on the app first. I'm sure I wasn't the only one. Maybe Apple saw how far behind certain models were and gave them priority. I crossing my fingers I'll get charged this week!

I dealt with the exact same thing. After numerous refresh attempts on my iMac I googled what the issue may be and found that going through the iPhone app was letting people pre-order faster so i did that and got my order in at XX:08:34. Good thing I did that cause otherwise I may have been quite a bit later waiting for the website to come back up.

I cant figure this plane crap out, so there was 5 last night and one a half hour ago? But what about today is there another 5 scheduled or anything?

there's multiple flights everyday, you won't get it faster by micromanaging. Forget about it and it'll come.

No, 4 planes came last night. One came earlier this morning at 8:57 or something. They won't update the site until later with planes going to Lousiville but there is usually 4-7 planes each day but not all of them have Apple Watches on them.

XX:07 order. My 38 will be here today (after UPS resched from yesterday - thanks for that) and my 42 has gone from processing to preparing to processing to preparing and now back to processing. Apple Chat had no idea what that was the case other than to drive me crazy, apparently.

Out for delivery today!
Ordered:xx:06:22am 4/10
Charged: 9:06am PST 5/5
SoCal

Strange though, seems my Watch originated from Ontario, CA - about 40 minutes from my house. Is it a stockpile?

From what I can tell there was only 1 flight yesterday from Shenzhen to Anchorage (UPS77). Departed Tue 07:23PM CST arrived Tue 01:08PM AKDT. Then UPS77 went to Ontario CA. Departed Tues 03:30PM AKDT arrived 08:50PM PDT. Now there is a flight from Ontario to Louisville (arrives 12:19PM EDT). When this lands I have a feeling my SG 42mm status will change to shipped. Just a feeling, I have no evidence that it will change to shipped after this arrives.

It would be kind of crazy if we found out after the fact that the planes from Anchorage to Louisville were a red herring, and that all of the watches went through Ontario to Louisville. I don't think we'd ever be able to confirm that, but it'd be nuts if that were the case.

As I've said multiple times, the data points to the biggest load of orders happening in the XX:06-XX:07 range. This is going to be a long 2-3 days to get through this range of times. That's why I stated that we should see XX:08-XX:09 (MAYBE XX:10) start shipping on Friday/Saturday. By next Monday, the flow WILL get faster when it comes to moving to orders that were processed at later minutes. If everything I've researched is correct, we should be through XX:20 by the end of next week, as long as no problems pop up that constrain the supply at the plants. (I've even put a few bets on it, so I'm pretty invested in this...)

So when are you predicting an order placed on May 2nd? If you're estimate is correct and everything is through xx:20 by the end of next week (May 15th) then that means they are already working in the May 29 to June 11th delivery estimate window. It also means it took them about 1.5-2 weeks to get through the May 13-27 window.

I would guess it would take another 1.5 to 2 weeks to fill that estimate window but that they will cover a lot more ground in terms of order time. So by May 29th they will be working on the next estimate window? Probably a window along the lines of June 13th - June 29th. If that takes them 1.5- 2 wks to fill then I feel like orders placed at the beginning of May (and therefore with a July estimate) should starting being delivered around the middle of June.

What's the latest someone ordered with a May 29 - June 11th window? Anyone know?

Yeah, first I've seen of this. But all I know is that if I don't get a shipping confirmation today then the earliest I'll see it is the 12th (being in Canada - if the don't move to Mt. Hope before Friday they spend the weekend in Canada Customs limbo and don't het to the main DC until Monday afternoon). My Window is the 13th - 26th. Still optimistic that delivery next Tues or Wed is possible.

It doesn't make sense (at least for us Californians) that flights would have to go through Louisville first and then get sent back to Ontario. Anchorage Hub seems able to handle and distribute the packages going East (to Louisville) and leave those that are going west to Ontario. I live about 20 minutes from there and it's a pretty big facility.

I seriously doubt they'd go Louisville to Ontario too but the other way round is possible depending on the amount of traffic on each route. If they had more going to Louisville than they had room on planned flights and the Ontario flight was not full I could see them topping it up and forwarding ON to KY.

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! The Apple gods have looked down on me, now if the UPS gods will do the same!

Charged Overnight (5/6) 1:56 AM

Good morning fellow 42 SG friends,

My order was processed at XX:08:02AM on the 10th..

I have a college graduation to go to next Friday (15th) that will probably take up most of the day.. What are the odds that I receive my watch before then? If it delivers that Friday when I'm not home I will be

I agree. I think it also makes sense for yesterdays scenario where there was only 1 UPS plane from Shenzhen and that happened to fly to Achorage-Ontatio-Lousiville (the flight # changed when going to Louisville). Maybe a large # of west coast orders being DELIVERED today by chance? And the rest going to east coast for tomorrow delivery?

My time in this thread is up. Officially graduated today. Good luck to everyone else and hope you all get it soon!
