Someone is deleting lines and information. You probably need to make it read only and have folks to PM you the information and you enter it.

If you are logged in to Google, you should be able to click on a cell and start typing. There may be an issue of too many people active on the sheet at one time, but I'm not entirely sure about that. I don't normally bother with Google-anything.
