I hope your buddy isn't friends with the guy who posted the other day about how we'd see a massive increase in charges/shipping, which amounted to crickets and tumbleweeds all night

I have enjoyed reading all the posts. Even the paranoid ones! I am finding that having an extra depth of information is helping the fun and anticipation of my wait.
My wife got her 38mm SG Sport on Wednesday and I ordered that 10 minutes after my 42mm Space Gray, Sport. Mine is timed at XX:10:36, hers was XX:20 ish. She loves it and I can see that I will also. A truly lovely thing. So I have a few days yet to wait. Good to have company though!

While we wait for more new charges, I put together the black classic buckle band with the SG and it looks pretty good. I'm wondering how it would look to get all of the stainless steel gold plated?!? I think it would look very good. What do you guys think?

This is what this wait drives me to do.... not the best (pardon my photoshop skills), but I made it look "gold" instead of the stainless steel (and also changed the second hand to red) and I think it looks pretty slick. Just might have to order this one.
