Do you know what time they are upto for Canada orders?

No idea. I thought US/CAN orders were lumped together since they are part of the same logistics and transportation chain and are identical products.

I don't think any Canada orders have gone in to the 7's if I remember correctly. They started ahead at the beginning then really slowed. Earlier in the week was a big movement day for Canada and Europe, but then its seemingly stopped since then. Probably another big movement day coming.

Nope, they have appeared to have their own shipping schedules different from the US.

xx:07:55 confirmation. Upstate NY. Charged May 9th early or May 8th late, not sure. Preparing for shipment at the moment.

----------

Quick question. If you are charged on Friday, are you likely to get the watch on Monday?

I've been keeping a personal spreadsheet since May 5th of logged times of people being "charged" for their 42mm SG models. I probably missed some here and there (most notably from May 6 to May 8) but it's neat to see the trends. Also not a fan of the shortening of each "wave." Things have been extremely slow. "?"s denote outliers.

Nice Work.

I hope the shortening of the"waves" is a function of less interest in the thread over time resulting in a lack of reporting vs. a lengthening of the process on Apples end.

I think the popular theory was that the process would be quicker as time went on and supply caught up to demand. This could be a problem.

I don't know how big of a group is needed to provide a representative sample but I'm guessing our little forum probably doesn't come even remotely close??

Not sure if that's correct, if I received my email confirmation at 8:03 AM CT does that mean it should be entered as XX:08:03? I chatted with Apple and they said 06:03:25 AM PT. Should that be entered as 06:03:25 or XX:06:25?

Nope, they have appeared to have their own shipping schedules different from the US.

I know, this seems strange. Canadian iPhone 6 launch had the same logistics as the US. All Canadian orders also come into Louisville via Anchorage and then are shipped to Toronto. Items 'in stock' on the Canadian store usually ship from the Harrisburg, PA warehouse just like for US orders.

I also don't think the theory of "oh the bulk of orders were in the first 5 minutes or so...after those get shipped it should speed up because there will be less orders!" Every time we hit a new minute, it seems like according to our representative sample at least, that there are the same number of orders.

I've optimistically thought we'd be zooming after the 5 minute mark only to be hit with an order for nearly every second inside 6 minute orders, every 7 minute order etc. Maybe once we leave the first hour that will be the case, but so far we've been deep in initial orders.

There is also the psychology of people not reporting their later minutes until it actually reaches that time, so on the surface it appears like there isn't much in the future when the reality is that those people just aren't reporting their time until it gets more close.

It seems to me the only thing that will speed up shipment is a ramp up of production on Apple's end.

I'm aware of the group spreadsheet but I don't trust the accuracy of it because it's real hard to input data into it (since there seems to be some sort of cap on public edits or something) and it's unreliably updated.

Oh, and I'm at XX:13:57

Only thing that seems to maybe make sense would be just not as many orders in Canada therefore they get sent as bulk shipments as enough are filled....???

I'm glad to see you have "proof" in a way that what we have been saying seems to be true, things have slowed down.

it may seem it has slowed with what we see here, but there a lot of other people not in forum waiting for the SG watch, I also believe the theory that so many people order thru this time 0f 00:06- 00:08, that probably haven been getting fulfilled but doesn't reflect since we still in early 00:08, but could be a lot more SG's have indeed been shipped, does that make sense this forum cant take account for all other people in the same time frame

Slow Down

There will no doubt be a slow down around the time the store came online instead of just the app because of the huge influx of people that were refreshing and waiting for it to come online to buy.

How is everyone figuring out at what second their order is time stamped? I received my confirmation of order processing email at 12:08am PT, but have no idea of what second.

You need to get at the detail Header information of the confirmation email. Google it for your email program. Your 00:08 is up soon though.

Or you can forward it to yourself and more often than not it will appear in the original message header. If you're in Gmail you can see it if you click the down arrow and "Show Original."
