I'm xx:05:59 for confirmation and nothing yet. Glad some others are moving as I was about to order a green sports and one instead and see which ships first.

damn so yaw ordered yaws on launch day and are still waitin?! this is killin me! i know ima be waitin for a couple weeks then smh

what does all the xx:05 stuff mean? help me understand those please somebody

this is your supposed email confirmation time.

I ordered at 3:04:54 EST time...since the hour varies depending on your timezone we drop the first variable and say either xx:04:54 or 04:54 as the time your order was placed.

That being said, I am being told now that my order was placed 8 minutes after my confirmation email and has made me thoroughly pissed off.

Does "standard shipping" mean the people in this delivery window will get their watches via UPS next day?

I'll preface this by saying in the grand scheme of things, this is not a big deal at all. In fact, in two weeks when I have my watch, I won't remember any of you, nor will I remember my time stamp.

<rant>

Having said that, WTF! People ordering WAY past my time receiving shipping confirmations is tough to swallow. When I ordered my 6, I was fine with the incredibly long wait, because I didn't get up at the butt crack of dawn to place a preorder -- it was an after thought. However, with this launch, I was up at 2:45AM, refreshing like a maniac to try and secure a launch window for shipment. To be pushed back as far as we are within the first 4 minutes is ludicrous. Add to that people who have ordered 2+ minutes later (an eternity in pre-order times) receiving confirmations of shipment, and I'm baffled. I can only think of a few reasons why this would be the case: Some genius logistical minds running algorithms to figure out the most cost effective means of distribution, artificial inflation by severely limiting supply, or perhaps the peeling of the black bands that is coming to the surface as of late.

Apple is the largest corporation in the world, with some of the smartest minds behind them. They knew the SG sport was going to sell like hot cakes. I believe this is why there was such a strong push from Apple for people to "favorite" their watch prior to pre-order, something they haven't encouraged before. It gave them a preliminary, rough idea of how sales would shape out. They had two weeks to ramp up production from the beginning of having these numbers. I will be very eager to hear what TC has to say tomorrow.

No way 05 got charged?!?! And I'm still in 04 group with nothing this is pure bull

My time was 3:04:59 est for my 42mm SGS Watch and nothing has been changed.

I contacted Apple and this is what they told me.... 4:58 pst... PST!!

I'm pissed because that mean it's close to 5 HOURS after my email to being processed in their system. Because it's based off the type of watch and not the time of your email...So we have to take into account the time and type of watch and maybe type of CC because some banks take longer than others. I thought this time around I would of been one of the first... Hopefully we can see more movement next week. Has anyone else contacted Apple and have that much of a delay?

went ahead and ordered a 42mm BLUE Sport and see which one changes to shipping first and ill cancel the other...lol that was my second choice any way and I got the milanese band coming also so that will look better than the milanese with the black. I have heard stories of people ordering now (the lesser varieties) and getting shipped almost immediately, so I am trying my luck.

I'm not sure I'd trust the Apple contact people. They seem to give a lot of inaccurate info in general.

Isn't it PDT now anyways??

Received my order confirmation for 42mm Space Grey Sport at xx.05.56...still says processing. Ordered via app on iPad as soon as it came up. Live in South Florida. I'll post again once my card is charged and order status updated. I'm hopeful that will be soon.

I received a notification on Thursday that my order was shipping so I was naturally excited and logged in to get the tracking info. They shipped me my 2M charger cable I ordered as a spare. My watch order still says "May 13-27" and spare band says "May"

We don't know what order apple uses to ship the watches. Bottom line. It could be a combo of model, country, time of purchase, etc... However, if we are ordering the same specific product, in this case for me the sport grey 42mm, can we not make a determination when it will ship from the order number instead of the time of the order confirmation email? If so then comes the second question, is there a problem posting the order number on this forum? Can someone manipulate the order if someone knows the number?

Space grey sport 42mm
XX:06 confirmation
No charge
No EOD
Still processing.

Guys it's been said multiple times here that the apple reps are reading the time stamps wrong. Your order actually went in 4 minutes 58 seconds after ordering started. That's why you got the email a second later.

let me know

So another rep clarified some things to me and the dude before wasn't clear with his information. My confirmation in their system is (xx:04:58) one second before my confirmation email (xx:04:59)

I'm trying my hardest to stay cool..... Who would of thought less than 4 minutes into pre-orders I'd have a 4-6 week wait.... I strongly believe it will come sooner.

My iPhone 6 I ordered around 5:30pm later in the first pre order day (I know it's not the same thing) but I got second wave for that and I'm second wave now for the watch.

It took 5 days (Friday release received my phone the following Wednesday)

So I'm staying strong for that same mindset to receive my watch mid upcoming week, even though I have a mid May delivery date

No. It means anywhere from 1 to 10 days. Standard is not guaranteed expedited. But many of Apple's US warehouses are located within a "next day" range of UPS Ground and FedEx Ground. If it ships direct from China, that would be an "Air" service which could be next day or could be 2-3 days depending when its released to the carrier and how it makes its way though the carriers system.
