I'm xx:12:01 in Apple's database, xx:12:06 in the email. My card was charged last night (still pending) and I changed to preparing for shipment last night around 10:30PM. I'm still PFS as of 9:30 AM EDT today. From what I recall in this thread the charges and shipments usually kick in between 10:30AM and Noon EDT.
It's always good to know your seconds of order time to know where u stand, because sometimes after a wave they do small amount of charges n just move seconds

I've heard if u forward email to ur self u can see the seconds when email was sent, the email I got was seen to my wife's email but I foward it n I see the seconds but idk if I would have received to start out if would have been able to see it, but best way to get accurate is chat with a apple representative I did n got stamped 4 secs before email says sometimes it can be more or less so I recommend that method, just ask for ur order time, sometimes they give u a weird time like for me I was at 00:11:09 he told me orders was placed at 11:09 I was like no way, apple

You need to contact Apple customer service by chat or by phone and they will tell you if you ask.
There was a bigger wave on Saturday night (if I'm not wrong) where they breezed past xx:08 and xx:09. It was then Followed by 46 hours of no activity. Assuming the same happens it would take Friday for the next wave to happen again and I am not sure if xx:15 would make the cut.
If you're using Apple Mail, select the confirmation email, then 'View -> Message -> All Headers'.... looking through that you can see the time (with seconds) that the message left Apple's email servers.
Look at all the dates in the headers. (Search for like 10 Apr 2015)... the earliest time is usually the one where it left Apple.

It sucks because I was one of the asshats refreshing the store in the computer, at around xx:04 I gave up and went to reddit for answers and behold I found out the AppStore on the phone was taking orders. I rushed over there and finished my order by xx:07 but loading was a biatch and turns out I mistyped my CC number. So I redo he whole thing and had a XX:12:02 order time.
Today I found out Apple cut off the wave at XX:12:01 I feel ****ed by Apple again.

Just tried getting the actual order time from Apple and no luck all they were willing to give was the 13-27 estimated delivery date.
I don't know why people keep saying this. There WAS activity in between, it was just small shipments here and there.
Check the header of your email confirmation. It will contain the email confirmation time sent complete with seconds. This is what everyone is referring to.
Was in the same boat,got up before Midnight and kept refreshing. Just happened to try the phone and bang but even at that I didn't get order posted till 00:10:25 sucks but finally processed.

I need to block me accessing the order status page and my credit card site - I think Ive accessed it 20 times today in the hope I would see an update change......
