Shipping To Canada

Hi All,

my watch is on the way, this is how it went for my shipment to Canada.

The watch was ordered at XX:17:05 on April 10th according to Apple but I believe the order went in around XX:10 which is why I am receiving it now. It was more than a couple of min before I got the email after placing the order.

This is what I believe took place:

5/12 afternoon EDT changed to preparing to ship, watch already on UPS77,credit card has been charged.
5/12 5:32 PM EDT Shipped message from Apple
This was 2 min after UPS77 landed in Anchorage from Shenzhen, China. Not sure if the timing is related or not.
Watch would have gone with the others destined for Canada on UPS99 from Anchorage to Louisville and arrived early on 5/13. The watches then went on UPS476 from Louisville to Hamilton, ON. This flight arrived at 5:52AM 5/13 at this point it would be too late for delivery today. The watches were then passed through customs and then shipped as a group to the Main UPS centre in Concord.

This scan into the UPS system took place this afternoon when the group of watches were broken down into individual boxes for shipment all over Canada and released into the UPS system as individual packages for the first time. It took until this afternoon because there was no rush, they were not getting delivered today.

UPS now shows delivery by end of day tomorrow in Kingston, ON. The watch will travel overnight by truck from Toronto (Concord) to Kingston for local delivery.

This is my interpretation of the process. Feel free to disagree.

It appears to have been deliberate because there are a bunch of "asdf's" spread around the middle like someone was just hitting the keyboard
 
Spreadsheet

I can see that the last good version was 12:57 PST, but I can not roll the main version back.

El Lissitzky, as the creator, would you please roll the version back to then?

hours weeks days almost a month who ever delete it is a big screw up to the apple watch spreadsheet people that put time and effort and letting other buyers know the info on we're we were at that we can't get back #
 
Update on my 00:13:50 order shipping to Knoxville, TN:

As of five minutes ago, I am unable to add a gift message.

We'll get it back; don't worry. Just gotta give the owner a chance to deal with it. He/she can roll back the revision.
 
Someone did this to a prior document that had all the watch models on it, except they only messed up the Space Grey Sport portion of it. Sad to see it happen to this one, especially after how well it was managed and organized.

But my point is, had I been able to try on the watch the day before the preorder, I would not have had to buy 2 different sizes. And if that was the situation, I would have purchased the right size, and would not have sold my 38mm on eBay.

It's also possible if they did allow try ons before the order date, more people would have ordered the right watch, and less would have hit eBay and prices would be even higher than they are now. Basic supply and demand.

Back to waiting.... Still stuck in processing.

Sorry; I was replying to and agreeing with you, and the rest of my comments were to "you", as in the metaphorical folks we were arguing with.

It all makes sense in my head. ;)

I believe they were saying the update to their order was that they could no longer add a gift message, not that it had shipped.

Nope. But if I can't add a gift message, it must be getting ready to be boxed/shipped. That seems to be the trend- no gift message, charge a few hours after, PFS sometime soon after that.

Officially signing off. My watch was delivered May 12 at 3:17PST by UPS. I am absolutely loving this watch, better than I expected. So worth the wait

This was also about 5 minutes after the MD11 coming from GSZ landed at ANC.

It doesn't say on my deliver or order details. The order number probably hasn't been registered with UPS. I'm hoping to get it tomorrow.
