Interesting fact : the show was called paradise island, the actor Hervé Villechaize left the show at it peak stating he wanted to pursue other options... I think he got one other job in a James Bond movie.

Apple is Hervé Villechaize, their lack of interest in putting my watch in a box and mailing it to my house is their "pursuing other options"

Ok it's a weak analogy, I'm still pissed , I just want my watch

It was Fantasy Island, also starring Ricardo Montalban (of Chrysler's "Corinthian Leather" ad fame).

He advertised for the Chrysler Cordoba of which Corinthian leather was an option :)

As much as I don't want to believe it, I would not put it past Apple for a second that they are stockpiling for the 'real launch' in-store in June. People are walking into Apple stores every day and walking out frustrated that they can't actually buy the watch on the spot.

I'm in the xx:16 time frame with a ship date May 13 - May 27 and think Apple will get watches to customers who preordered and got a ship date before June. They have botched this launch and will take even more slack if they start offering in store before they ship to people who ordered online.

When the iPad mini with Retina display was released I ordered online and had a ship date after the official launch date, I was able to track one down in an Apple Store and reserve for pickup and cancelled my online order. I hope they don't go down this route while people are anxiously waiting for their order. Again, this has been the strangest launch, so at this point I wouldn't be shocked if they hit Apple retail stores in June and those customers will get the device before April 10 preorder people.

Finally Planes not correlates with charge/shipping notification.....NO updates.....at all today 2 planes already landed from china.....so verdict given.......there is no perfect way to tell.....it will come when it will come......

I've been following this thread for quite awhile now. Although I'm in the May 29- June 11 timeframe that thread is only up to 4 pages. Although some say this is the wrong thread for me, I have to disagree at least when it comes to following along. By watching this thread it helps give me a better idea on when to expect my watch. I'm early enough into my timeframe that I should get my watch on the next big wave after this thread is cleared out. With such little activity after this thread is done it shouldn't then take long to finally catch up with all the pre-orders. Looking forward to finally being done with y'all. :)

Ok, I'm a xx:12:06 order that is due for deliver tomorrow. Just wanted to share this UPS routing. Seems kinda weird. I live in Oklahoma.

Question from someone who hasn't ordered very many things from Apple.... Do they ship and/or update statuses on weekends? I saw some of you say you were hoping there would be movement today, but it's Sunday so I was wondering if they do anything on weekend.

When I stayed up until 3am on April 10, it was not , and let me be explicitly clear here with this point, it was NOT to order a watch I would receive 2 months later. I stayed up to place an order for a watch to be delivered on April 24th. ONLY AFTER I had stayed up, got into the store, and selected my watch was I told I would have to wait nearly 2 months. For the entire week leading up to the 10 I resolved that I would be placing an order early and getting a watch on release date.

Should have chosen Aluminium/Blue I guess. You would have gotten it on time.

Ok day 5 and no real movement.

This is now really disheartening.

Obviously we do not know if there is a correlation, but there are three more planes landing in Lousiville from Ancorage in the next hour. So we will see if we get anything.......

We have seen large waves on Saturdays and there have been charges on Sunday.

What's funny, every conversation that I've heard about with apple chat (including my own), they've said "we both" ordered the most popular watch. There's a lot of "over acting" going on with them right now to save face.

I'm pretty sure that someone at apple rubs their hands together, has an evil laugh and repeats over and over "they'll never figure it out!" Muahahahah

Hey Apple.... It's not that deep. Most of us understood it was going to take a few weeks. Patronizing doesn't make you look any better.

I read that Tim Cook was checking out the forums and saw all of the nasty comments about Apple and personally ordered the factory to withhold orders for SG models as a punishment.

----------

I would seriously hope they're not stacking. That would be highly disappointing to everyone still waiting for shipments. I admit that I would be a bit upset if that were to happen.

How would you ever find out unless you work for Apple or UPS?

----------

They could be. We haven't seen any charges in 5 days but we are seeing flights everyday. If we don't see any charges today, for Tuesday delivery then it's obviously, they are stacking.

It's UPS, not Apple Air. UPS may move a lot of Apple product but it is not the only thing they do.

You're right.

1) If they announced being able to purchase in store before preorders were completed.

2) Very true, but this 5 days of no movement is not because of UPS. This is entirely Apple. Now for what reason? I don't know, but I highly doubt for 5 days UPS would put Apple on hold for shipments.

9 planes have arrived in the U.S. since 1 AM this morning. Another 2 are due within the next hour or so.

11 planes on Sunday. Apple, where in the heck are these charges?! There better be a tsunami this week.

Day 5! Sigh.
